Pennywise Does SOG Pheno Hunts Fall 2018

They are stacking up for sure is it because the tips of your fans at the tops are sagging a bit heat stress wise? What is the temp at top of colas?

I haven't checked but the top most leaves are tacoing pretty good. I turned the power down on the light just a tad.
Nice man

I noticed the same taco curled up kinda feeling dry crispy eh?

I moved my lights up a tad today see if it helps . We finally got shoots coming in my tent even off those smaller bomb seeds girls.
The perks of growing hey at least you got the sense buddy.

It's definetly a strain all to itself, I'll cull the mutants tomorrow I think. They aren't going to produce enough to fool with so they're gone. @Mr. Krip

Wait! What's gone? You're not culling ALL the X-mas bud, are you???

No just the 4 mutants, 10-20% of Xmas Buds show a funny mutation. They grow slow and are much smaller than their normal siblings.

Hmmm...good to know! I've got a pack stashed and will keep an eye out when I pop them! :thanks:

Yeah, but you got to admit they look cool!

They're cool looking plants but just a curiosity, the freebie Xmas Bud are from open pollination but Nspecta has an Xmas Bud IBL that shouldn't show mutants

Aaaahhh...OK! I have the Tom Hill Deep Chunk which is supposed to be the mis-labelled '79 X-mas bud from Nspecta, so I think I should be safe! :hmmmm:

I need to turn down the power on the lights, I'm seeing heat stress on the Chems.

Why cause of the cupped leaves there ^^^ Chem91... they are getting tall and looking pretty healthy. Maybe they will get used to the intensity with a little more time. Hows the heat???

My Mystery Girl was like that all thru veg - lights were closer in VEG. then same lights in flower but more of em, more spacing at first, she grew into the lights and lost the curl.

Make em sweat a little bit. I think its good for em?? As long as preying, its all good.

Did the Xmas bud loose the jagged leaf thing??

Inbreeding I see..... :p

They were breeding for ears... nailed it! :high-five:

I agree with penny. I don't think either of those enzymatic cleaners do anything in coco. The exception would be if you had a large reservoir driving an auto watering system. The nutrient solution just doesn't sit long enough in a drain to waste senero.

Thats my system = large water res going into btm watered large pots in soil with a membrane and clay pebble btm barrier in each pot. So no roots in the btm of each pot where the water is.

Every once in a while I get a gunk ball in the valve on one of the pots.

On AUTO breeding. Unless S1 selfed for FEM seeds don't we have to run to F3?? F1 will be all AUTO then F2 will be some AUTO and some PHOTO, select from the F3 for AUTO traits and breed them. Only way to find out if F3 is AUTO is to grow them and be ready to self them. Thats my understanding maybe I'm wrong.
I'm thinking the AUTOs that were crossed with PHOTOs to breed for AUTO traits will retain PHOTO traits as a recessive gene. Once you pollinate and get to F2 there will be a certain amount of recessive genetics showing up??

I may be wrong just thinking out loud here. AUTO breeding is extra work.

Looking good! those reversed pollen sacs are nuts!...damnit no pun intended,
was talking about your XMas bud in my last video a little as my Plasma 13 is a piney girl:)

Hey Pennywise:) I know we were talking over in my thread but time to time It's good to ask here so more ppl see. More ppl might learn;)

Been researching the root aphids and i'm sure that's been the problem, possibly for a while as I've had occasional "stubby" plants that now look picture perfect aphid invasion. They never made flower since I like the taller girls ;) until now and I got some steller in there I want to save,

Day 35. will go as long as it takes if I need to go to 70 days for a systemic organocide I will.

Looking into a product by Buyer Called Fruit Citrus insect control. I cannot spell the chemical but it's like 'amaticlaprid' or something. One application is systemic, kills aphids and is supposed to clear the plant 30 days after application. Are there some sure fire safer alternatives ppl know of?

I'm in Coco, used Mosquito Bits and it does help but not enough...lots of crawlers all of a sudden it can get out of hand quick, Anyway I'll be able to swing by home depot on the way home this morning and grab some things. Would love to know the alcohol idea you were thinking as well some other ideas?
