I just have a 3 plug splitter plugged into a single timer to run both of my lights. Now if your lights have enough power to blow the breaker if they all turn on at once then you would want a second timer set to come on slightly later.

If you have any questions or anything, just ping me Penny. I have been 100% with my method in rapid rooters and direct planting in soil since starting it. Simple to do and quick, you could fill that SOG up real easily with a good mom or three.

@Pennywise hey I was wondering how much z7 I should use in my solution. I will be running a 5-gallon bucket dwc? I have some on the way and I will be moving a plant from coco to dwc when she gets about 2 weeks old or so. I was also thinking, I will probably only be using about 4-gallon of solution in my bucket don’t you think. I was also wondering if I can use great White in my solution or would it even be worth it using the z7? Sorry for the questions Penny but I’m getting ready to start first dwc so I’m getting nervous lol.✌️
 
Not to step on PW but yes z7 and I also recommend hydroguard, both are fantastic in DWC together

Bottle says 1/2ml per gallon of each bottle, that's what I use

Thanks Chris, at least it will last a while at half ml per gallon. I will eventually get some hydroguard and try also. I ordered extra air pump and air stones and I’m thinking about getting a backup battery powered air pump just in case power outage happens.✌️

2-3 ml every 3-4 days is fine with Z7 in a 5 gallon bucket. I tried Great Wite in acrez and it clumps up something aweful, I wouldn’t use it in hydro but it works well in coco.
 
I guess I will need to change solution every week so just add a little more z7 at about mid week you think will be ok?✌️
 
Thanks Penny, as far as the solution level you think fill to bottom of net cup or leave a little gap? Sorry for these questions, I have researched some and some say fill to bottom of net cup and some say leave a little space. I rather trust my pals word on here cause you guys never let me down lol.✌️
 
I leave a few inches between net cup and waterline. You want bubbles from your pump to break at the surface and bathe the exposed roots with fine droplets of nutrient solution. Use well under the recommended nutrient strength. They roots will still suck up everything it needs. With water culture PH becomes critical. Start between 5.8 and 6.2 ph
