Pennywise Does SOG Pheno Hunts Fall 2018

Thanks Low, isn't there anyplace in Canada to order Autos from Joe?

I know you were asking Joe, and I'd be interested in his experience and advice as well.

For me, I've been on a bit of a seed hunt... made some purchases, others were just "window shopping" for future potential buys.

I've found a few options here in Canada. Dr. Seeds (a sponsor here) has been the best so far; their selection of autos is ok, just not a huge variety. They are much better on the fem front.

There are a couple of other bigger seed banks here, but I am a bit skeptical of their genetics and/or service, given some feedback I've read about. In addition, their prices seem pretty steep to me.

I did a bit of math, and it seems more cost-effective to use some of the other bigger "international" banks, with more reliable genetics. Of course, you add in the exchange rate and international shipping, and things start to add up that way too.

Seems like there is a market opportunity here in Canada, especially given the legalization that occurred last fall.

Just my opinion, and I hope that other Canadians will weigh in if they have struck gold with an organization I have overlooked.

True North has quite a few...little spendy, but not insane...lil stingy with freebies...I use 10 bucks a seed as a benchmark...little more if its something I really want...cheerz... :high-five:...h00k...:hookah:...

Yup, that was one I found. I thought they were really expensive, but maybe I don't have enough experience yet to know the going rates.

Hey Joe,

I placed an order from Seedsman several months ago. Amazing selection, and prices were more reasonable than most Canada-based options. Drawback was no credit card payment option. I got a bank draft and snail-mailed it to them. They mailed the seeds quickly. But still took a long time with the back and forth. I would definitely order from them again.

Just have to be optimistic that the market will address the gap domestically here in Canada. Or keep shopping international, I guess. Until then, Dr. Seeds is the only Cdn company that I feel good about.

Yeah I want to order from them but only if they think they can make it hear in week or so

I'll check out dr seeds. thanks for the help btw :passitleft:

Sorry to take over your journal, Penny. I see a lot of Canadians on the boards here - we should start a separate thread about Cdn seed options, if that would be allowed here on 420?

By the time I got to the bank, cheque in the mail, they received, cashed, and shipped my small order, was at least 3, perhaps 4 weeks.
