Pennywise Does SOG Pheno Hunts Fall 2018

I never had much luck with cloning untill I used a dome.
When I was a kid working in a greenhouse we'd have a table of coarse wet sand. Take cuts of what they wanted and stick the end in. Period. Kept em wet for a couple of weeks and root city. Seemed easy then. That was for geraniums and one or two others I can't remember now. These seem a lot more touchy. I've not tried cannabis yet and don't suggest this method , just a memory.

I have been 100% with clones just sticking them in soil and putting them in under a humidity dome for 2 weeks. Its a little slower than using rapid rooters or rock wool but they all root eventually. 3 weeks is the longest its taken so far and that was for a cut taken 3 weeks into flower. She is still revegging but she rooted none the less just being stuck in a solo cup of soil.

I do think the humidity control and temp control are the two most important factors to success in cloning.

My Grandfather had a commercial greenhouse for years and I remember him just sticking cuttings in soil. The greenhouse always maintained fairly high humidity. God I wished he was still alive, I'd love to pick his brain right now!

Those old timers had it down. You're right about the humidity. Most lived every time.
