Pat Gets Hairy With A Gorilla

Whats up bru? Why has it been a pain? I am planning on only feeding it once a week so not every feed
I feed once a week as well its just because ive had everything sorta dialed in on my ej nutes then started adding silica and its super high in ph and throws off the ph in my nute mix and causing me to get lockouts. Nothing against the nute though sorry for the late response pat

Apparently it is just better to make the silica apart from the actual nutes. So I would say I could feed the silica in the morning then in the afternoon do the normal nutrients. Top feed it on its own and then no nute lockout

Ahh i think your on to something there.. see its weird because on my journal i have an outdoor white widow and 3 blueberry indoor. And its so weird because they get the SAME EXACT nutes literally everything the same and get fed at the same time so its weird how my WW responded perfectly fine to the silica no lockout at all but my blueberry on the other hand gets lockout after lockout lol

I think some strains are just different you know. Perhaps the WW is more solid and can take a dick knocking while the BB is not. It is weird though, maybe try and feed the BB with the silica seperate but for the WW you can keep doing what you're doing?

Just bought this tonight. For out door grow. Feeding schedules welcomed

I just make sure my silica is the first thing i add to my water and it doesn't affect the nutrient mix at all ;)

Thanks for sharing bud

Yeah it says that and the bottle and i followed directions but still gave lockouts lol weird but oh well i think im going to cute it from my indoor but keep it for outdoor

Yeahh WW is a solid strain i hear can really take a beating lol.. but im going to keep it for my outdoor only as ive seen no problem so dont fix wat aint broken lol

Nice purchase King! :passitleft: wish we had some of those over here. If only the local South African hydro shops invested in a wider range of nutes then all would be well, perhaps in the future.

Shot for that Feral I didn't even see that post bru apologies for that. I am wondering how much the silica would alter the pH over the course of 3/4 days. Would it be quicker to raise the pH with it or would pH raise slowly without it. This 4am thinking is giving me a brain fart :rofl:

Cali I have heard of that pH perfect but not sure how it works? Does it regulate the pH to the level you want?

Heres an email i got from AN on their PH Perfect line:

The pH Perfect base nutrient has some specific ingredients( chelates, surfactants, amino acids as well as buffers) that increase the pH spectrum to continue the plants ability to absorb nutrients between 4.0 and 8.0 pH without the concern of having to re-adjust the pH so many times, like you would have to with a simple salt formula. You should use a water supply Tap water )providing the ppm value is no more than 150 ppm otherwise you may want to consider using RO water ( which normally has a 0 ppm level.) As far as adjusting pH it is not necessary, the additives will do the work for you. If you have any other questions or concerns please call our Growers Support line at 800-640-9605 as we will be happy to help in any way possible.
