Pat Gets Hairy With A Gorilla

What is a good ppm?
Gonna have to be more specific bud, a good ppm pen or the amount of ppm?
75-80% of the screen is a about perfect.
Hopefully this girl stretches just enough for me to have some nice little colas. Gonna make that new nute batch today and see if I can get the BioGrow from 3ml to 3.5ml in the 6L of water.

She is looking great Pat! How old is she now?
She popped her head through the coco on the 11th bru

Today is day 17 then for above coco. Growth is a bit slow imo but should take off much better once she gets her roots dug into the coco

Yeah, she is in a fairly big pot. Wait until she fills the pots with roots, then she will explode my man.

Yo, so it seems I have a small problem forming up. Imo I think it could be pH giving me a kick in the nuts as I am not measuring pH of made batches as much as I would like

Just these leaves starting to look like that, anybody got any ideas?

Made a new batch today then cocked it up from the start by adding too much Calmag so I scrapped that completely and made a new one :rofl:

Tap water ppm - 45ppm
CalMag - 60ppm
BioGrow - 140ppm
Total of of 245ppm
PH at 5.7

I got to keep a closer eye on things like pH and adjust every second day atleast which I have been slacking on.

Thanks for stopping by :passitleft:

Maybe you could have spashed water on them?
It could be brother. Have been watering with just a small measuring jug so not perfect on the throwing. I will definitely just keep an eye on it and see if it gets worse or not. Will know by the morning if it was just water perhaps. I actually forgot about water spots but might explain why there isn't any problems higher up

Rust spots usually indicate calcium deficiency, but PW might be on to something. Is it just on the one leaf, or on the opposing leaf as well? It's actually hard to tell from the pic bud. Hopefully Penny is right. She still looks quite healthy.

If you're feeding biobizz, you are effectively doing an organic grow right? Surely your pH should be up around 6.5 then? Anyone else have any ideas on that?

I'm feeding at a pH of around 7 on my organic girls, but I'm in soil and Pat you're in coco right? Still, I would think with organic nutes, you would aim for a slightly higher pH.

Sup Blaze. Apologies bud I know the photo doesn't show that much. I wonder if it could be Cal deficiency, I am giving the girl some every feed. My CalMag was 60ppm this batch around so not too much but also enough. Perhaps it is only some burns from droplets that got onto the leaves. All the new growth looks good so far. It is both sides but I do try and water around her so sometimes I am a bit clumsy with watering because I try and get the solution to run through all the coco and have sufficient runoff.

With the coco bru it is treated as hydro, that is why the pH is much lower than yours. My sweet spot is around 5.7/5.8. I think it is the medium I am growing in. I know for soil around 6.5-7.0 is perfect. I will just keep an eye on her and hopefully it won't get worse. I am not too stressed but I prefer being on any problems that could arise and sort it out chop chop :thumb: your girls are looking sweet too!

Yeah, it might very well be just water that was splashed on the leaves.

I need to do some more reading regarding organic vs salt nutrients and pH levels.

I'm sure your girl is fine though bud. :thumb:

I think organic fluctuates the pH more than the salt nutes. Not sure why I think so but is possible. She is almost ready to be topped too. Want to keep the girl as low as possible so will most likely be able to start training within 7-10 days
