Thanks for the reply McNasty! I actually now dont believe i have gnats.... These small larva and are not white with black heads. And there is none flying around anywhere.

These are long and slinder solid black and craw slow. Very small. About the size of a grain of salt... I can barley see them and if they was not crawling i dont believe i would have noticed them .... ANY IDEA?!?!! Ive searched all the pest fourms and cant identify my pest in my reservoir? No way i could ever get a pic as even if i look under 30x they are still small?
 
Ok i managed to get some pics with my phone and under 30x mag. You can see the fibers in the paper these guys are so small....

Haha so i changed the reservoir and added peroxide back also. Still have the little buggers... I bought some mosquito dunks and put 1/2 of one in my reservoir! Lets see if that will get em!

My reservoir for sure smells different (No because of the dunks)... I will do a reservoir change again in about 3 days and start back with my aquashield.
 
i have never done hydro grows. but, i do get slime, in my rapid rooters and dish. i have em sitting in water, and i get slime. i dont think its harmfull. a piece of newspaper, layed on top, for a moment, removes it, tho. also, where there is water and light, there will be algae. plants look good. cfls work well, considereding. i have never thought why one ounce i got such good yields off five god bud. 3.5 oz ea. but, as i remember, i had only one 600 light at the time, so i surronded the edges of the grow, with four large cfls, and their own mini hoods. got em for 15. ea at home depot. also, got hood and cord, for 9.95, at same place. they are huge. and, perhaps this was why i got huge yields. i was also using the foxfarm lineup. hmmmm. i have used many differnet nutes. with no real diff between them.......

GOOD NEWS! :party:

Dont wont to jinx myself but i see no living critters left in my reservoir!! It seems that the mosquito dunks are doing there job!! I have not added any peroxide in over 20 hours so i started introducing aquashield back to my reservoir! I for sure dont want any kind of slime or root rot problems now! Will add aquashield 5ml per gallon for the next 3 days every 24 hours in case anyone is wondering. The peroxide has already diluted and should be out my reservoir.

I would not add hydrogen peroxide more often then every 2-3 days to your reservoir. I would not use hydrogen peroxide and any beneficial bacteria or mosquito dunk at the same time, the hydrogen peroxide with also kill beneficial bacteria and the Bacillus thuringiensis contained in the mosquito dunks

Day 69 from seed and day 41 of flowering!

Everything is now calming down and I believe everything is good! Added more aquashield today. I will do a reservoir change in a few days and add a new mosquito dunk and aquashield just in case the peroxide was still in the reservoir and killed my good stuff.

So im coming up on 15 days from 8 weeks of flower and just wonder what signs should i start looking for for starting my week flush and getting ready for harvest? Im having a hard time telling if the trichomes are turning cloudy or not. Im seeing a lot more brown pistils now turning.

Any tips on this and what i should be checking/doing?
 
I'd say you're still looking at another 2 weeks or so before harvest. You will want to get yourself a little microscope 50x-100x and keep a eye on those trichomes and once they are cloudy, its time.. Flush usually begins at 2 weeks before harvest..
 
I harvest my cannabis plants by trichome maturity. You need a 30x jewelers loupe to see the trichomes and judge when to harvest. Most people harvest from 5%-30% amber trichomes. Harvest at 5%-15% amber trichomes for a "head high" energetic effect and harvest at 30%-50% amber trichomes for a "body stone" sedative effect strain dependent.

Awesome thanks for the tips guys! I actually have a 30x jewelers loop like pictured but i cant really see the trichomes well... I just ordered a 60X loop so maybe that will be better! Also put in a order for some Boveda 62% Humidipaks to put in my quart mason jars when its time for the cure! :thumb:
