Pantagruel Goes Big

That 165w light is kicking ass right now! i was worried it was going to be underpowered to grow some nice plants, but i have a BC Sweet Tooth underneath it right now that is starting to catch its legs and i'm sure that LED will be great for the one plant, or a small veg area for clones or seedlings

Ordered some new bloom nutes yesterday. Curious to see if it will have a noticeable impact over organic nutes alone....

Not so far. They do drip a bit when watered, but nothing crazy. I'm curious to see what the root mass looks like though. Thanks :thumb:

Just fimmed/topped the 3 largest girls, one RD, one Lucy and the NL. They each have 6-7 good nodes plus whatever I get from the fimming/topping. I always pull one large set of fans at the top to allow maximum light penetration to get the branches going after I top.
 
After careful consideration of our empty cupboard and the amber trichomes on the girl I started flowering early I've decided to pull her early next week. At only 8 weeks she will still be one of my ripest yet, so as lex mentioned earlier, definitely a fast finisher!

Gave everyone a massive drink of water only today in case there are some salts building up; for the harvester this will be her flush.
 
Everybody topped (except the half-sized Kali) and defol'd. Getting ready for the switch to the Hortilux later on.

6 days since the last pic and the girls have grown quite a bit, 6 weeks old now. If you also follow my current flowering thread you'll know I'm falling short on weight, so I will definitely be letting these ladies get BIG. Also have a TDS meter coming this week to help sort out the hard water and ph issues that are slowing development.

The Red Dragons at the rear left and right are by far the biggest :)

Looking damn nice my man! :) I'm presently smoking a bit of early tester RD :) :) well its nice to just get an idea on taste :) :)
Ill be running this strain some more for sure! :)
 
Yeah really really sweet smelling stuff almost like candy! Its not ready yet as I want some amber, but damn it tastes and smells lush! :)
 
Thanks bob. I just added some GH Flora Nova bloom into the equation. I haven't used any 'product' before, just organic amendments and teas, so I'm excited to see some more dramatic results. Hopefully my TDS pen will be here in a few days.

The canopy is really filling in now. I will be putting the 2 Kali Mist into the flower room Thursday as space is opening up then and the Kali has a 13 week flower so they need a bit of a head start. I hit the fim perfectly on 3 of 6, the Red Dragon in the picture below has 10 branches showing at the top 2 inches :) The other Red Dragon I doubled-topped, first time trying that. I'm so far very pleased with this start.
