I had to pull out the flash to really get the colors to show on this.

Looking awesome Fert!!! Those nugs look tasty as hell dude!

Quite tasty indeed! It's kind of hard to tell the subtle differences between the Panama x Malawi, but they're there. The Panama x Malawi #1 is very sweet tasting and smelling, it's kind of like a sweet citrus. Between the organic soil and the bud washing this stuff tastes delicious and is ready to smoke without much more than week's cure.

I got some NoPest Strips yesterday. I know there's a lot of debate about the safety of using these, but I've heard they're very effective, and I feel safer using these than some pyrethrin fogger. I'm only going to be keeping them in there for a bout a week or so, quarantining the area just for extra safety. I just hope they work well given the amount of ventilation going through the tents, but since it is in a separate room, I just took my exhaust out of the wall that vents it into the adjacent room so it's circulating among the entire room. Probably better to try to treat the outside areas anyway. I haven't really seen more signs of them, but the plants are looking quite discolored so I believe they're either still there, or the spray is stressing them out.

Anyway, I hope to be able to switch the ones under my T5 into flower, hit them with CS, and then gather pollen, while I flower females in the other tent. Will probably need some careful timing.

:adore: Damn, Fert, you slayed this grow!

Everything looks so incredibly frosty and those colors. Wow. Ya done good, son... ya done good.

Thanks man. :thumb: I was really surprised how much these frosted up. Perhaps throwing them in the dark for 72 hrs DID have an effect. I'm excited to pop more of the PGSC x Cherry OG seeds, but I also really like this specific cut. It's got a ton of cookies influence.

Havent seen many grower pics of that cross. The flowers look awesome. That has to be some awesome smoke.

Oh yeah, it is very nice so far. I haven't really seen many pictures of it either, and at least none that really do it justice. I've seen ACE tests say it runs between 18-23% THC and it seems about on par with that based on stuff I've had tested at 23% in the past. It seems like it got kind of overshadowed in popularity by the Malawi x Panama.

Wellll huh. The plants that are under my T5 seem to be improving faster than the ones I put under the 315 W CMH. I wonder if they got too hot, but I don't think so, it's only got up to 86 in there and they're landrace sativas. I'm thinking maybe the pots are taking longer to dry out for the 5 gallon ones than the 3 gallon ones, because one of the 3 gallon pots is already showing at about mid-moisture range on my meter whereas all the 5 gallon pots are still reading at the top of the meter even a few inches down.

Anyway, not really sure what the discoloration is about anyway since it's pretty much the same soil I used that I know is good.

Something looks a little off, just not sure what it is. Most of the new growth looks good on most of the plants but one of them looks like it has some sort of deficiency or lock out going on. Pictures 7 and 10 (From the bottom up) are the ones that show it the best in my opinion. I need to look at my deficiency chart and see what I can find.

Yeah I was thinking I had potassium problems last grow cycle with this soil too, but my soil tests show it in abundance, and my pH isn't in the range to lock it out, so I'm not really sure what's going on. There's some spots that look like calcium too so I think there's just an uptake problem in general, and I suspect that it's related to the recent transplanting.

Are you feeding anything or just water only?

Supposedly potassium issues can be common if you have soil that is rich in nutrients or fertilizer. Maybe look at zinc as well. Those are the only two that really stand out relative to what i see.

Just water. I suppose it could definitely be an excess. I have to dig up my test results but I'm pretty sure they listed it as "very high" levels for basically all the nutrients tested. There was only one that was "high", but it might be the potassium so I gotta go find those results.

This soil has always had an issue with burning tips so it wouldn't be too shocking that it's too hot even with all that I've thinned it out.

Hopefully we can get it figured out. Bob will probably have more insight to the issue. I am still a rookie compared to him, especially with cannabis in containers.

My guess is that it has something to do with the transplant and that the roots are probably unhappy about being wet for so long. As for why it's not effecting the 3 gallon pots, I guess just less volume so it's drying faster. I'm really not sure.

This one is really bad though. I'm considering just plucking this one out because I don't want it to attract pests in its weakened state.

I'm not seeing any signs of the russets back, but then again, they're extremely hard to see.

One thing I have heard repeatedly, don't know if it applies here but I will throw it out there......the more soil you use, the more forgiving soil generally is. Its the main reason I am moving up to 10 gallon pots in my perpetual. I might go through more soil, but I don't mind. You will just need to change your watering schedule. I know for me, If I am in 2 gallon pots I get about 3 days before I have to water. If I am using 5 gallons, I get about 5-6 days depending on the size of the plant. Not sure how long between waterings in 10 gallon pots with my soil.
