Coming for them titles again. LoL
:headbanger:

Still trying a few different lights for my pictures.... Gonna play a bit more later.

Here's a few shots I snapped this morning with a new/different bulb in my clamp light.

Getting a bit better; but I think I can tweak a few things to get a better shot.

I'm playing with some of the "pro mode" settings on my cell camera, and think I'm gonna put a white filter over my light to tighten things up & reduce glare & fade in my pics.
:thumb:

everytime I try to use gloss backgrounds it doesn’t work out for me, too shiny. Creates too much glare..... could be my photography skills though. Lmao
I've pulled it off once, with the black/glass top on my stove as the background.
I had to angle my little light just right to get the pic, but it came out great in the end.

I may resort to a matte black though.... I just really want to emphasize that contrast between the white/frosty tricomes and dark background.
:thumb:

Do you have a light box? Maybe easier the defuse the light through it and not get the glossiness. Just an idea.
I've been thinking about building one... I take enough pics where it'll surely get used.
:thumb:

I found a company that makes a bad-ass collapsible photo box, but it's a couple hundred $.

I'm actually gonna swing by the hobby shop today to look at "foam display" board to possibly build a little box, and I wanna grab some black construction paper to use as a "muted" background.

I'll be playing around with a bunch of different pics & styles. Should see some interesting results, if nothing else.

I did recently just build one, out of the white side of store displays. I haven’t figured out how to use it perfectly yet. But I must say the pictures were coming out much nicer. They’re on the digital camera once I upload them to the computer I’ll be able to have a better idea I how they look.

The black backdrop worked great... I think I just need to "cool off" the light I use.

The bulb I had been using has a bit more "natural" orange/red/yellow tones.

I think the black backdrop is playing tricks on my camera... gonna swap bulbs over to a "bright white" led to see what colors pop up.

That looks a lot better, my eyes focus on the bud instead of the bright background.
Yeah... I needed that dark contrast to really get it to "pop". Now I'll dial in the light & snap a centerfold.

...hopefully. lol
