Oz's First Grow - Pyramid Tut In Coco

Lol.....definitely 1st time mate....I promise :) I can't grow hair never mind plants lol :)
Coco's great Jay....I honestly can't think of any drawbacks at all. Nute wise I'm using Canna A+B and Canna Rhizotonic. The last 2 feeds (full strength) I've droped the Rhiz and started adding 1ml of Superthrive per 20ltrs (5 US gals). It really seems to have kicked their butts into hyperdrive :)

That's great!...give it time to root...it may take longer then normal depending on where you took the cutting from on the plant...cuttings from older parts of the plant and large cuttings can take a lot longer to root (i have had large, older cuttings take three weeks or longer)...I have found that when the fan leaves are starting to yellow the cutting is usually pulling out food to produce roots...if you do get some wilting a couple sprays with a mist bottle can help a lot...humidity is also very important until the cutting can take up water from the roots

I think it's great you are cloning what you remove from the plant...no matter the outcome with this one keep it up...you will learn so much about what works best thru hands on experimentation ...practice makes perfect...keep it up and good luck my friend :thumb:

Hi Jay....thanks for all positive vibes and feedback mate :). The cutting was basically a new node. It has leaves and a nice little head lol :) I've just dampened the coco it's in and recovered it with the pop bottle bottom I've got over it. It's literally air tight so I drilled 5 small holes in the top to help air and ventilation. I've also put one of the 4mm air hoses in it to create air flow. I might remove it though because it's stopping any major humidity lol :)

Sounds good buddy...Yeah I'd remove that air hose it may dry out the foliage ...just use it when cloning in water to add oxygen to the water

Merry Christmas my friend :xmas::xmas::xmas:
