Oz's First Grow - Pyramid Tut In Coco

Just gently loop ends of branches and train horizontal as much as you can. Dont be afraid to use thumb nail at back of leaf stem. Then bend em out the way!
 
Arghhhhhhhh NIGHTMARE !!!!!!! Just slid the wire along the flux of one of the really good bushy girls and managed to snap it!!!! :( :( So the "T" is now an upside down "L". It hasn't snapped off completely but pretty much. I'm gutted! Any recommendations/solutions guys???????
 
Tape it up really firm matching as much up as you can then get a couple bits of wire and wrap around then twist to tighten be quick!
 
Cheers mate. Used as skinny a sticky tape as I could find but the flux is so close to the fan leaf below it and there's so much nodal growth above it I couldn't it very tight. I've wrapped a wire it and tensioned it so its pulling the plant together. Gave her a decent feed too :) Hope it works. Thanks again mate. :) Have some reps from me :)

OZ buddy, do you mean like this. Just cut it right back yesterday nothing to try grafting to either. :)

My poor Chemo is starting life crippled, but after a good cry and swearing session, you just carry on.

Funny, how when you do something like this, you just know no other grower is this stupid.

Lol Thanks OZ, I've got high hopes for her. Hehe, I don't even know her sex yet.
I'm going to ask your help in a couple of days, if you don't mind. Going to convert to coco. And need your advice.
 
Mate I'll give you all the help I possibly can. As you know my experience is limited to my current grow but it's fair to say I've been on a steep learning curve lol.

I was only told this wen I snapped my first SLH girl.. She btw fixed and grew on onto a gawgus girl.
I just put a few wraps of electrical tape round and continued as normal and after a week I peaked under the tape shed healed solid like a welded joint

snapped branches give the best buds if u heal them right. i never tape it up, i use twist ties and tie around the snapped branch then tie to another part of the plant so that it lifts the branch so its almost but not quite touching. the gap will fill and heal and make a hard knuckle. when u bend make sure u start bending a little at a time until the plant becomes pliable, think of plasterscene u have to work it a bit before its pliable enough to manipulate.

As for defoliating autos, im not sure. i dont see how it would be a prob though. i was told defoliating my regular plants would cause issues yet i proved people that defoliating improves the plant not damages it when done correctly. If ur worried take some snips and just cut the fan leaves in half, that will do no stress to plant and allow light through also.

Gitt at the moment is like 28 plants not just one lol. Christ Molly Mcfly, will now be kept in veg! as no room at the Inn as it were for her!

Hi guys. Been a busy day....again lol:) Got in at 4:30 and had a "play" in the tent. Rotated the girls, de-fold fans, adjusted wires and gave them all a good feed :) Sick girl is still looking very green and healthy so maybe, just maybe, she'll be ok :) Here's one for though....when I did the first major defol about a week ago I didn't remove ALL the cut bits out of the pots. Today I found 2 tiny clones growing in a pot lol :) Might just let em grow as they're well away from what I presume is the mother. If they establish I'll transplant them to 3.5ltr pots and let em go along with the others :

Cult....cheers mate. I'm hopeful that the girl will heel ok. :) Also I'm going to play a little with the autos. Gentle lst really except for 1. I'm going to do it with LA's guidance and see what transpires :) In your opinion, what is potential yield from a decent auto? :)

That would do very nicely mate :) I've targeted a total of 10 off the 6 so anything over would be a real bonus :)
 
Mate thats less 2 per plant lol. You will hit that no worries. I was getting consistently around 4-5 off mine under just my 400 watt. So your ten ounce target will be hit my friend as you have more light than God lol!
