Hey guys.....yeah kinda chilled now :) The lights came on 30 mins later than I expected but also went OFF 30 mins late so ok with that. One thing though.......I have 2 timers with 2 lights in each. One timer comes on and goes off 6 minutes before the other. So, semi light and semi dark.....that should be ok guys yeah?
I'll get some pics up tomorrow guys of the new layout. I think it'll be awesome :)
 
At one point way back I ran just cfls for first 2 hrs then my hps then ended lights on with another 2 hrs of cfls. Saving money idea and also a bit like natural day with most intensive light/heat throughxmiddle of day. Got good results :)
 
My thoughts EXACTLY guys. All through veg it's been the same so I'm ok with it........it's got to be "more natural" :)
Regards the buds....I've put a fan heater in the room to raise temps (the window is slightly open). It's sitting steady at 59f and 59RH too lol FREAKY :)
 
They're just starting to dry up a little around the outside of buds mate :) When we first chopped and hung them it was "a bit at a time" so today was the time I actually handled ALL of them.......bloody hell, there's loads lol :) Some of the big uns are pretty impressive :)
 
Or.......find the best 3 and SMOKE THEM lol :) mate, honestly......I'll leave the comps to others. I'm just happy to grown without killing them lol.

OZ do you have some large glass canning jars for curing? If not, you will need them in 3-5 days

When the outside of the nugs are dry and they don't feel moist when you lightly squeeze them, they are ready for the jars. I use the jars that hold one oz. The jars will draw the moisture from the inside to the outside and give an even, slow cure. The first time I put the buds in the jars I only leave the lid on for 2-3 hrs before I remove it. Then I put the lid back on when the outside of the buds are dry and extend the time the lid is on each time until when the lid is on for a full day and I remove it there is no moisture on the outside of the buds at all.

I'm sure other people have different methods but that's what I do and it works for me...2 weeks from harvest the buds are ready. After that, I keep them in the jars and "burp" them every once in a while by removing the lid for a few minutes

Jay....thanks for that great info mate :) I'll pop into town later a get myself some "big ass" cookie jars with the clip on lids. I bought one jar for my son to try out a few weeks ago and he loves it.....bloody things are all sold out now though lol. LOT of growers in my town :)

Nerf buddy.... cheers :) Yeah, I think the autos have exceeded my initial expectations :) I've got the buds strung up on an indoor clothes line behind the tent at present. Little fan heater running underneath them to warm the air. It currently 68f and 46RH so looking good me thinks :)

Well, I'm just waiting for the boy to arrive with some timber. Going to make a few adjustments to the tent structure and layout. It will give the Tutts a bit more room each and a better spread of light. :) I'll update with pics later :)
 
OZ check out QD they have the jars in abundance and cheap :)
