Overlord's Adventures With High Brix

UPDATE!!

Everything looks good so far, I do see two leaves starting to taco already on a clone of that same Mandarin Cookies pheno that gave me trouble last time.

With the new environmental controller all things have been in the proper range, so I don't get what is happening.

I gave them TP + Tea 2 days ago, they have stretched some and starting to show flower formation.

That's an excellent picture! That leaves no doubt. The leaves around it are fine, that one is folded up and fading away. :hmmmm: Dunno ...

Yeah crazy, tomorrow it will be two weeks exactly since transplant and flip. Although they were started in 1st run soil with the one gallon pots, I transplanted into 2nd run soil with the 8 gallon pots, and given 1/4 trans + tea dunk.

" I do see two leaves starting to taco "

Literally had my laughing out loud--we brix growers do get picky with our plants, don't we? :p

On a serious note--I have an oddball theory that leaves are often directly correlated with certain roots--so if a particular root is hitting something funny down in that pot (maybe some concentrated stuff from the first run still in there?) it could be showing you that in the corresponding fan-leaf.

It's a crack-pot theory, but one that might explain what you're seeing here. Other than that one leaf, your grow is looking seriously beautiful to me OL! Cheers and happy Sunday.

The last round with this pheno it did the same thing, eventually most of the leaves taco'd, turned necrotic, but was also the most frosty plant of them all.

That is why I decided to run her again, and now I see that with everything in proper ranges it must be something with this particular pheno. I just wish I knew what to do to keep it from happening, hopefully it won't get much worse this time.

Hmm...I had a Tangerine Dream plant that was crazy finiky in the past....For me to get it to perform correctly, I had to have 70%+ rh....

Was silly.

Due to the other plants loving their environment right now, I won't change anything.
I may try a full run of the same pheno at higher RH in the future though.
Using the Tensiometers, the recommended mBar for cannabis in flower is 150 to 180. So I drenched them at 170'ish.
I am wondering if maybe she doesn't like to get that dry and I need to water her more around 150 or less.
It won't hurt anything, so I will try the next drench at 150 mBar and see if anything gets better or worse.

Have you tried less product (just on the issue plant) to see if the tacoing is due to over feeding and she
may be getting pushed to fast? No idea but I noticed the same and will try cutting back next time, just a little.

UPDATE:
They are 14 days into flowering, Warbird OG is sucking up the water & GDPupil is right behind her.
The two Mandarins don't use it as quickly.
Not much else to say, that isn't said in the pic descriptions.

Thanks For Stopping In... :ciao:
