Hey so im excited . Got this kool lil green hooked up basically and im just curious like since im growing outdoors should i continue to use promix and my nutrients? Or use some sort of compost mix? Tbh i have another 10x20 green hoise going up right beside it as well. Now for about a year and a half ive been throwing heaps of lawn clippings and promix from harvested indoor cannabis into a pile in my far back yard. Is there anything i can do with that to reuse it? It kinda scares me to think of the pm and bugs and stuff in that by now. I can just use all new promix for everything but thatd be expensive. I plan on making vegetable plants all in there too and i have no idea how to go about it . Ive successfully grew pot in door as of lately but this green house is going to be my 1st true outdoor grow. ANY SUGGESTIONS on what to do with that compost and if ill have big or pm issues inside the green house. Also i plan on collecting rain water in barrels out back there. Any suggestions or insigjt would be appreciated. I live in the pacific northwest and were still getting 40s n 50 degrees outside.

Go get some manure - sheep llama rabbit goat horse .... any of them and add that to your pile. It will heat up and get rid of all the pathogens from your previous grows including any "treatments" you did.
Should also be adding in your kitchen scraps to the pile. Vermicompost is your outdoor gardening friend. Get that right you wont have much else to worry about.
