You and me both brother.
It is encouraging to read that those polls in the States came in lower than the actual voting.
I view THC as a catalyst to terpenes (or other way around). Couldn't even guess at what kind of ratios or other factors would play (from the person smokings endocanaboid system to even flavonoids), I'll leave that to persons smarter then me on the subject. I've bought a lot from licensed producers in Canada and each jar has its THC and CBD levels. I've had strains that have hit much harder with lower THC then others with high THC.Interesting article, thanks Stunger! I remember another member here who was sure that terpenes played a much bigger role in the high than THC content, and this proves the point.
And I'm quite sure I'm not the member who said that before, just adding my 2 centsI view THC as a catalyst to terpenes (or other way around). THC definitely is a factor, but it's not the end all factor that it's made to be.
Yes indeed, but it is still a little bit early for me to be playing Monty Python's Life of Brian 'always look on the bright side of life' in my head!but always good to look on the bright side!
46.1% yes is not too shabby! Maybe the legislature will just pass a law.Well the preliminary voting counts are in for the recreational cannabis referendum in NZ.
2.4 million votes were cast in the referendum to legalize cannabis.
53.1% No
46.1% Yes
The final count will be known in 7 days time when the special votes are counted. It is impressively close but still a fail at the moment. I am not sure whether a suggested total 480,000 special votes will contain a higher enough percentage to get us over the line. The total votes counted are said to be 2.4 million, obviously a rounded figure. But still going on these numbers the No votes are close to 170k ahead which makes the percentage of special votes required for a Yes vote needs to be around 68% Yes which could be a bridge to far.
At least this shows a very strong level of support at the preliminary level with almost half the country's voting public in support of legalization.

It counts as progress! 15 years ago you would never have seen that vote happen!Yes, even if the referendum ultimately fails, there is plenty of scope for the government to still push reforms.
So a close final result still counts for a lot!
