Outdoor flowers, let's see 'em!

Teacher's pet (got a little creative last nite whilst stoned on last yr's trim hash & listening to Doris Day):

Thank you. Honestly what was salvaged is not getting much attention.
Still stings a little thinking about what happened to my grow this season. Not over it.... Yet
I bet. I thought I'd heard about every kind of grow loss (theft, bust, bugs, rot, poor growing, etc.), but losing one to cyclonic storm is a first for me & I fully understand how devastating it must be.

My in-laws are dry wheat farmers in the great plains where tornadoes & hail ("the white combine') wipe out crops with some regularity. As my father-in-law often said, even though crop insurance covers it, but no matter how often one's been through it, it's just an awful feeling. Hard work reduced to stubble.

But at least there's the salvage...smoke those survivors in good health.

I wish I could my friend :p
My job prevents me from participating. Only on vacations when I have enough days to cleanse my system, and this summer I was out of work recovering from surgery so I was able to indulge, which was nice to relieve my back pain.
My mother and father are older and I moved them into my home to take care of them. I grow their medication, along with my wife’s meds.
They all have legal medical marijuana cards prescribed by Dr, but since marijuana has not been decriminalized to grow as medicine in my state ( which is ranked #1 with the highest number of population loss to other states, Andrew Cuomo is a fuck head), outrageous prices for their meds kinda forced me back into the grow. Marijuana is not covered through their insurance, and with the lack of registered practitioners available they would go broke if they had to pay for their meds.
Keeping them pain free is a risk that I am willing to take.
I don’t sell it, I don’t give it to kids. I am and have always been a law abiding citizen with no criminal record, pay my taxes, I have always held a job since the day I graduated high school. If growing meds for family makes me a criminal to some, so be it.
Nobody wants to see their loved ones suffer for the simple fact that they can’t afford or have easy access to their meds.
Sorry for the rant. Lol

Not a rant. Just a fair assessment of very bad governmental policy.

I get that & my heart genuinely goes out to you & yours. The criminalization of weed is horrible in so many ways, but especially for those that could use the medicine. That situation is what is truly criminal, not the herb.

Good for you for doing what you can for your family.

My sister has a degenerative nervous system disorder & bud helps her immensely. While she lives in state w/ legal med & rec & has long had a med card, I can still grow it for her more cheaply than is available in dispensaries. Especially ‘cuz my produce is free to her. So she gets the vast majority of what I grow.

But, again, I’m glad that there’s some of that medicine to be salvaged. If I could send you some of mine, I certainly would, but if we lived in a world where I could do that legally, it wouldn’t be necessary.

Best to you, yours, & yr efforts.

Day 16 of flower. Do-Lato strain. Grown straight from seed in the same pot with year old used tomato soil. Some amendments along the way, but mostly just water.

It smells like a bit citrusy at the moment, but that seems to change daily.

Nice! Already showing some frost!

Yeh unfortunately i have some caterpillars that have moved in and really enjoy that frost :(
Uggh, knock 'em off with sprayed water & mash the bastids, after convicting them of hate crimes.
