Our Ongoing Grows

Holeee S__t! UNFREAKING BELIEVABLE Mr. Wood. Beautiful pictures, that God Bud, I don't know if it can get any whiter without having it dipped in snow! Very psyched about Skynyrd and Bad Co. we're gonna have a great time. See you today my friend.

OUT!

Wow those are good pictures! Thanks for the hermie pics. Now that I've seen those, I'm gonna go look at mine again. I think I saw something that looked like that last night. Some of my plants were pretty stresses last week due to a bad elbow choking one row of my ebb&gro. I guess they tried to hermie to save themselves. None of them looked quite as developed as the ones you pictured, so hopefully there is no pollen yet. I'm gonna bust out the tweezers and pluck them all out tonight now that I recognize them. I thought it looked like the new leaves were yellow from lack of nutes or something. Hermie makes more sense. I've just never found the male parts on the tops of the buds before. I've had plants hermie, but it was always buried inside or towards the bottom.

God damn bro!!
You're killing it with the photos, not to mention the amazing bud you're pumping out lately.
Thanks for luring me over here to drool all over the place.
Looking forward to seeing some of that God Bud come out of my Ambrosia.
I was pretty excited to see that it produced such big colas! From what I was hearing, it wasn't a huge yielder.

wiw!

I also wanted to invite ya to a new journal I just started today.
Please drop by anytime my friend!

Looking great you two! OMG those last two plants 47 and God Bud are out of this world sugary :goodjob:
My BlueBerry always has a couple bananas when i chop them. Super sensitive to stress.

...I was playing around trying to get the lights right for true picture colors. Well I pulled a AK-47 bud to use as a subject and low and behold, she had them tendencies. Alot of strains do throw out afew nanner's when their life cycle is coming to a close. Kind of a last ditich effort to reproduce well here's a errr-kind of, hermie;

and one last shot of her banana's;

Wood, thanks for posting these pictures. After looking them I realized my Sleeskunk had a few nanners too. The picture's not as good as your's are but look right at the tip.

She's getting a period of darkness, then getting the chop tomorrow.

coming on there that late in flower..can it still pollenate ??..i know pollen will come out but can't the pistils be past the pollenizing period ??

My guess, and that's all it is, is yes it can pollinate.

Miwa think I seen where you had tried afew shot without the 'fingerprint'. I'm not sure what kind you got but, some of these cameras have potentials no one ever will use. I know the one I got they filmed the commercial for mine with it. Man your sure busy Miwa.
Hozona thanks again. I'm sure glad I still have her growing. Miss J worked real hard saving that one. I do see that my dirt is alittle low in the PH department. Guess it's time to start adding alittle lime in the mix.
I have clones I took in there of the Bubblious and Chronic. Seems all made it and are happy and healthy. I ended up with 4 but onley kept 3 Bubblious and 2 Fruity Chronic. I'm also waiting to see if this first seed of Ledo Undo cracks. I plan on her outdoors. Along withn this plant. She's that Berkley Blues. She loves the cold. I looked at the temps last night and it the soil got down to 40 degrees. but she's thriving. That's part the reason I loike local strains for my outdoor gardens. Last year this strain got huge. And has great smell and potency and yeild. I'm pretty sure I ended up with around 2 lb's off her last year. This one may be biiger yet. I desided not to let her flower out so I'm hitting her with a interrupted light cycle by keeping her on the porch by some lights which I hit her with for a hour a night. Sun goes down around 7:30 at around midnite is when I hit them for a hour. That keeps them from flowering. Her's the little girl I have out there;

I've had this strain going for along time. If fact I'm about Blueberried out for awhile. So I'm going to let her go after this one. I spent alot of time working to keep this plant small in my veg tent, as you can see in this picture;
bb102.JPG

I can see one huge plant in the makings here...
sHEMP me too. Miss J even had a custom shirt just for the concert. OH BTW people Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Bad Co is coming to Washington. 20 minutes over the state line, at Sleep Country Amphitheater. Guess that use to be Clark County Amphitheater. I know we bought a block of 8 tickets with real good seating. I guess I need to dig thru and find afew of my Vintage Skynyrd Tee shirts.

Great Song enjoy. Just a note Nathan Bedford Forrest is my kin. Great Great Grandfather. That man had a strange life history worth looking at;

Well I'm pretty sure I found out why some of my seedlins are looking alittle sickly. PH. I checked it and it's alittle low. Just under 5. Well I got the lime on the way along with a decent soil testing kit.
Well I have 2 Vantages that are ready to come out. The weed is killer, but it doesn't have ANYTHING going for it in the way of smell and taste. I got acouple pictures for ya'll to see. Miss Vantage;

Pretty buds. ROCK hard. I've been calling her Red Bud ad she's hella red for sure.
NP Hiker. Iseen somewhere you was talking about it so I threw a pic up. You know alot of sativas throw out male flowers close to harvest. And stressing can flip them also, but thats a bad way to flip them. And seeds from a stressed induced hermie with be hermie plants. Least a real good chance of being hermie. And these aren't the hermies you want to produce fem seeds. Believe me, growing a plant with hermie tendencies will turn out bad eventually. You might get afew that work but one of them is going to slip some pollen out and ruin the whole crop. Happened to me acouple times.
Naw Vic, she isn't a big producer. But the quailty more than makes up for it. Whats this you stoped your OG? I just harvested my first OG from that plant I saved. And I have afew more getting close.
Yea a god camera is kind of important if you want clear pictures.I love mine even tho I don't even know how to use all the functions it's capable of. But the Marco Lens is the shit. Well that's all for now. Thanks everyone for taking a peek at what I'm got growing on. Till laters GL all and Keepem Green

Man I missed alot of peoples. Sorry I started that last nite. I'll update again in afew. Keepem Green

Ok let me Say my take or what's been told to me from the start a long time back. Growers that got me interested in growing in the late
70's grew some killer what we called Purple Haired Sensie when everything else came in 5 fingers lid's. But What is sinsemilla, (it is really two words: " sin semilla," which translates to "without seeds" in Spanish, ...)? But my friends called sinsemilla a sex starved goddess. We grow just females not only to keep them from having seeds but to keep them in the flower mode as long as possible. This forced virginity creates larger flowers covered in sticker tric's that are trying to catch any pollen floating anywhere. Plants do seem to have both sexs in them. Now about those male flowers producing seed, seeing these plants are on the chopping block it doesn't matter, but what's it take to grow a good seed? 4-5 weeks? Now we never let our plants grow till they die, that wood degrade all the THC into unusable compounds, well less active ones. But in reality them plants could grow another 4-5 or 6-8 weeks longer before they die, 'some sativa's flower for up to 16 weeks', so them ball sacks on your mature women can make viable seeds if that's what you want. Hell plants can even grow more than a year. Looking at the flowers, they aren't behaving like viable flowers grown on straight male, Now I'm not sure of what the pollen is like but I'd say fine. Or atleast some of the pollen should be viable. And the next generation should behave the same way, few flowers late in the cycle. We all have gotten that screamer green bud with seed in it. Alot of that is from slightly hermied plants. I guess lack of sex is what stressed them out.
Well thanks everyone for dropping in. Now what I said up there might not be gospel, but it's what I heard Keepem Green

Yep, I really have no problem with a "late flower" nanner, like your AK...Its the ones that pop up around week 4 of flower that piss me off...But then again, usually when they pop up that early, its something I've done, not the plant's fault...I know what you mean about the killer green with just a few seeds in it...We used to PRAY to find one in a bag of anything killer....Man what a new day we live in huh!? Where we can just go online and order some purple variation or A.Gold! Crazy...Anyway, your place looks full of that killer green, keep it that way Brother:Namaste:

My SleeSkunk got nanners last year too, but she was stressed. They seem pretty sensitive to environmental stress...Good smoke though!

The only thing mine had to be stressed about was she never got laid. Guess that's a good enough reason. :)

Good to know about the smoke. I'm waiting for her to finish drying/curing.

OMG i remember that weed Purple Haired Sensie ....was the best stuff I came across 35 years ago. Well gold was pretty good too :tokin: First time I ever saw the purple hairs in weed. Stuff was so sticky we had to use scissors to cut it up.....was always wet when we got it....Bet it was locally grown. :yummy:
