That's what's cool about the net. It gives us knowledge,, and also gives us access to the equipment. The first hydro store I remember was 'worms way' in St Louis Mo.Thanks Woody! I'll grab a second cut just in case. I'm glad to know it can be done without too much problems. Internet is great for info on shit. As I read somewhere else here today. Lots of respect for people's like you who had to learn from trial and error. Or hopefully had a good friend to mentor. Today's new growers really have it easy
I was kind of taken under wing by this dude, old hippy, that was kind of odd... Imagine that odd hippy.... But he was doing hydroponics back in mid 70's. Wasn't anything special,, just a passive wick system. But wasn't anyone growing that way back then. He was off the grid living out in Lake County Ca. Lake Co. is still a huge pot farming area out there. The dude could grow some pot. I hung around him for acouple seasons. Back then you could hobble a homemade ballast together that wood push a 1000 watt hps bulbs from some electrical store,, either that or grow outside. And growing outside really limits where you can grow.
