Our Ongoing Grows

Just about everyone lost their outdoor shit this year around here...

Well, I just got in afew new strains to give a try..

First I got one from @HydroRed at 3-13 seeds,, called Purple Primate

Another called GMO-Cake from Heisenbeans. Amongst afew others...
 
Some people lost 1500 plants around here... And most'' pot had to be cut too early to be of any good to harder core smoker. That's why I cut and run this year.. Sucks too.. All that work getting them MFing hemp mites beat back,,, only to start showing bud rot. Once I seen it was going to be a losing battle,,, oh well.. Did get a few jars off each one.. THat Marion Berry was getting a great smell that even I could smell.. Kind of wished I'd have cloned it,,, but did save the Cripit strain...


Myself my tolerance is off the chart after so many years of 'drugs'. Sure I get a buzz,,, but been forever since I got 'stoned'. New pot does work for a night or two.. I do prefer the Black DOG for the taste, and bag appeal,, as well as the high,, least from what I hear... And if my feeble mind retains right,,,, Cripit was in my place for 3-4 years??

I haven't had any good pot for a minute here... And I can see the bottoms of my jars...

Makes me jealous. JK not.. But alot of reason I myself have to throw alittle of the jug in the mix... Well I'm outta here....Hopefully? Keepem Green

I can't even imagine growing trees the size of yours and having empty jars! As jealous as I am of you outdoor growers, at least the one advantage we have indoors is the control over the environment. :rolleyes:

How's the indoor stuff going?
 
So true @Mr. Krip... Inside looks great... But hardly anything in there... I was kind of counting on getting some mature buds from the yard... That's usually when we do a deep clean complete in the late summer getting ready to fire up. But now I do have afew in there cept that 1 Puppy..


Speaking of Puppy,,,, Butthead's sugar was 315 last test... He's hanging in there tuff... But I'm starting to see his eyes are bothering him abit... We got him some of them lubricating eye drops. It's not got to use like Visyine on a dog,, just the lubricating ones.. But he's eating like a horse,, and looks forward to walks. I'm thinking his putting on afew oz's.. Going to have to do another day where we test him every 2 hours to figgure the curve and see about upping the insulin alittle more... 250 sugar wood be better... Then he should start to fatten up alittle,, from what I hear...

Last year was a great year to grow around here, people were still growing till mid Oct... But I got hit with them hemp mites, and before I knew it, I had alot of them .. I didn't want to mess with them so we took it down early... This year,, I wasn't going to let hemp mites get a chance of infesting so I sprayed damn near every other day for 2 weeks, and seemed to have my target plants, 100% clean bill of health,, and then it kept raining and raining.. Close to 15 inches of rain in Sept,, acouple fast hailstorms,, and days no rain,, morning fog. I was having to empty my dehumidifiers twice a day inside.. And I didn't have hardly anything in there. But so true,, about the only way to get a for sure thing in anymore it seems is indoor..

I think that is going to be the only way people are going to be able to grow anymore anyways... Because anywhere we have a season that can produce marijuana, is also going to be able to produce hemp. And hemp pollen can sure travel along ways on a stiff breeze. And hemp pollen is pure cutter of a marijuana plant.. All it brings to the table is a ever so minor amount of CBD and CBN values... Matter a fact Hemp seed CBD oil was never been illegal. Any OTC drug store sells it.. Besides hemp brings the worst bud structure I ever seen with it. Small thumb-sized buds on TALL lanky plants with few bud sites and loaded with TONS of seed.. Oh yea it also brings a headache from hell with it..

I'm glad to hear Butthead regained a little pep in his step and his appetite improved.

My buddy switched from growing bud in Colorado to growing hemp out there. He put harvest pics on facebook and his plants hang from barn rafters maybe 25' off the ground and them plants reach almost all the way down. Just like you said, shitty bud structures and they're all insanely tall. Good for him though, I'm glad he was able to capitalize his grow finally because prior to hemp, he was having such a hard time selling his buds out there for the going rates that he had to risk bringing most of it back here to unload for more than CO's market prices. I still can't believe there's still such a market for CBD, especially now that it's collected from both canna and hemp. I predict that market will soon bottom out too. Dude will have to go back to growing bud, lol.
 
The hemp market is just getting started. There are so many uses for it. Why it is a cash crop. Its versatile and needs very little to no pesticides (for now) and no fertilizers.

We used the stuff before the WWII for a lot of stuff that nylon took its place for.

Prolly how cannabis and hemp got to be Prohibited. Corporate amerika wanted to make plastics made from oil instead of natural fiber grown a field.

Things change now we want a cleaner america and hemp is back in favor.

Treat yourself and buy a t-shirt made from hemp or hemp and bamboo mix.

Longest lasting T you will ever wear and its soft like silk too and dont loose its shape like cotton. Its good stuff once more folks figure this out the hemp market will be golden.

Wood your puppy looks pretty good as usual.

Yeah the rain... nothing to do about it really. Thats what we had here on the east coast last year the whole summer and September nothing but rain. I counted on 1 hand days without rain in 4 months straight. I'm talking less than 5 days of no rain for 4 months.

I dont know what grows in that. Nothing in my gardens cept the trees and they lost all the leaves early due to PM everywhere. I think it was in my underwear and socks ffs.

Gonna be different next year, change only thing we can count on. Wish it wood have been a more productive outdoor season.

Just makes the wholesale prices better for the indoor farmers I suppose and less picky about quality control too maybe??


Hope your hip works out for ya Wood. I'll keep you in my thoughts. Send some healing vibes to the Wood shed sounds like you could use some.

And temps are going down so time to step up the lights... Knocked the dust off two of these and I have new bulbs too... Bulbs last about 3-4 years,, seeing I only use them 3-4 months outta the year.... You ever want to light up a block or two,,, fire one of these up with a MH bulb and you'll blind everything in it's path....

And I did throw 3 of the Purple Primate, 3 of the GMO Cake, and 2 Bomb' seed. I'm wanting 1 of the PP and 1 of the GMOc for myself..

I do have a full house.. But any extras are up for grabs. I'm pretty sure @SativaBoy's got dibs on afew.. But least see survival rates I end up with..

Besides I need to talk with ya @lazyfish.. My bad.. I been dodging the phone for the last couple of days... But I ca hook ya up with afew stains.. I even have one right here with your name on it...Utopia Haze from Barneys.. Right up your ally.. To me sounds like another runaway Haze that has to be tamed... That's if you want seed..

I'm going to be cutting up a litter real soon off her.

I was wondering why clones were having trouble rooting.. Only got one bulb.. Then I made the mistake of getting bloom bulbs for the replacement... Well I hope they work or I'm going to half to use a big 300 watt CFL standoff about a mile. I think bloom bulbs will work might need a 4 bulb fixture tho.. ?????? MY BAD... 20$ for 5 bulbs. Right now times is tuff... Property taxes and all that shit...

I don't have snow here peoples... But I do have a 100-pound sack of DE out in the shed... And we have had a nasty year for fungus gnats all over... Been wet,, is wet and will be wet for awhile.. Gnats breeding like rats... They like the sink drain in the house,,, or the coffee marker... They are at everyone's house around here......... NO PEST STRIPS???????? Over the sink?????

Seeing I got all that DE, and I've beeen washing my girls with safers this last time.. I like to wash with safers soap,,, let sit 10-15 minutes then rinse with lukewarm tap water... Leaves the leafs 'clean'' So while I'm at it,,, I coated every square inch of dirt with DE

And I am planing on doing a monster cropping of acouple puppys this winter.. They are just about back into full on veg... Going to be some bushes..

Mister @bobrown14 it's just a hic hup... I'm just waiting for all that global warming come dry out the area for a season.. Last year was a good year for alot of growers... Cept me...... I chucked 70% of mine in the trash... Hemp mites.. But IF it wasn't for them,,, people had a descent season...

I seen that WW2 crops '''to save the nation''.. I use to have one of them old signs that said 'join the fight'... And in the background was bales of hemp being loaded on a train...If your family farm produced hemp back then,, you weren't draftable.. That stuff still grow everywhere.. I actually looked at google earth once and seen the pic was late in fall... It's corn country there... Corn and more corn... If they don't raise corn,,, they grow corn for seed......

But corn browns out mid-fall.. Hemp stays green. On the map, you could see the hemp green all around the edges of the brown cornfields and lined up on the water ditches.. 16' high dude..


Thanks @Skybound I thinking I'm a seeing some weight gain.......... He was getting wormy. But the last couple days,,, he's doing better.. Barring all the sick talk about his BM activity.. Which is a big thing tho.. He's not losing everything as soon as he eats.. Getting alittle more regular.

They’re retooling our line this weekend and I’m not complaining too much. The down time was desperately needed.
 
BTW I peeked in on my seeds... outta 8 so far 6 have tails...................
