Our Ongoing Grows

MacD,, they are the worse things I've dealt with. I should've done a spray regiment with the outdoor girls awhile back. Least sprayed some neem on them afew times. Might have helped. But I wood'nt wish them on my worst enemies.

Thrips, I'd do the Safers Soap wash acouple times. That stuff is one of the most underused product. And it works great. Passes all the guidelines set up for organics. Spray it on heavy,, wait 15 minutes or so then rinse.

I 'THINK' I got them................. Fixing to start the next round? Thanks all and Keepem Green

Well, I did a harvest from my indoors Mister K. Might have been 75% what it should be... by an uneducated guess. But I do know this strain well after what 3 years. But I have one revegging still... Small one. Should make it easier to killl anything she 'might' have on her... I do have 8 that are damn near ready to flower growing out in the office... Afew chems,,, oh I can't even think the names,,,,, but these are cept 3 from seed.. BTW I just started 2 new Easy Kush and both Sage n Sours are rooted. Both Kush got taproot in less than 36 hours of being thrown on the paper towel,,,I don't soak mine,,, straight on a paper wet paper towel on a china plate covered with plastic wrap and put on my cable box........... I just uppoted 8 of my youngins... I plan on about 2 weeks,,, one more uppot into 7-gallon white square ones for a finishing pot.

Miss J been trimming that plants I got finished indoors and one of the outdoor ones... A fast version called Green Poison. She was done,,, cloudy trichomes and all.... Decent plant.. But I shall return..

A Bad penny always doses.......... And I'm the worst........... Thanks all for stopping by.. And soon I'll be updating my next grow... Same channel same time same place........

I like your attitude woody you get knocked down and you get back up and show them fffs!:)

I have a book that says it is best to harvest with a waning moon... I don't know if there is any significance to it but some people think so.

Hey Norcal. I am glad to hear that you kicked those mites. Are you going to run another LED vs HID?
that would be a couple weeks from now they aren't going to go that long but #1&reveg might be ready during the waning moon!

If you want a relaxed high, id suggest waning moon, a uplifting high, waxing....

I liked that one Grizz. I'd have to say waining. Knowing pot needs as long as possible here. The flowering cycle is so short here. But I don't go by the moon.. But I do prefer to harvest just after sunrise. That's when a plant's trichomes and terp's are their fullest and plump. After the sun hits them all day they tend to drry out in the sun abit. Especial the terp's. Least thats what when all the perfume plants are harvested,, like lavender and such. I watch how its made''' but also had a friend that worked in that industry. He told me if he harvested that same amount in the afternoon,, he got 20% less lavender oil in his final production flash. They lose their smells as the days go by. I'd cut the darkest nite yu got myself.. But early the next morning..

Wind plants rubbing, and sunlight all decrease the smells during the day,, and plants grow at night, thats when they push out more shit. Then when the sun comes up,, it stops and starts getting ready to do the photosynthesis thing a start making sugar all day for the next nights growing burst. Now this is just what I was told as I learned to grow.

And we didn't have the net back then. The people who taught me my basics learned from trial and error, or took it to the library, with a library card and read books... But some seasoned hippies who took me under wing, that was from the late 70's and we grew together till the mid 80's together over by Clear Lake in Cali. They are probably still there or their kids are. They had acouple hundred acres that 4 or 5 small groups lived and grew pot too. They were making their own seed and even made fem seeds way back then. They did it differently but still worked, they sprayed and reversed them female with a growth hormone called Gibberellins to get some female pollen. Whats strange is even now as I have this info highway, I find what they told me was true.. Them hippies were pretty damn smart when it came to growing. I wonder why it took the seed breeders so long to get fem seed production down. Hell we were doing in the late 70's. Kind of helped that Bam Bam was schooled in UC Berkeley. In organic gardening. So they all moving up there to live off the land. Bam Bam got his name as he says,, I ain't a hippy,, I'm a Vippy. Violent ass hippy.. Least when it came to protecting his gardens. Dud was strapped every day in the gardens. For snakes and such as he said......

Hey there Woody... sorry about the bugs. Russet/hemp are the worst.

Congrats on your harvest tho... take the good with the bad, get back up, dust youself off and get back to it. You on this I know.

When I saw your first pick of the mites with the taco leaves, I'm like fuck me I have a seedling that is looking just like that. So I take a leaf off and scope it and low and behold got me some spider mite fucks again. They aren't that bad just persistant little bastards.

Anyways with the mites they say to chop 1/2 of everything down, light the other half on fire, and burn everything that crawls out of the fire. Then gather all the ashes and burn them some more. :passitleft: Problems maybe solved.

Woodn't be surprised if monsanto comes up with a GMO cannabis seed that when used with some "special" fertilizer will be mite free.... no thanks.

Hang in there bud... if anyone has this you do.

I'm just getting going with my next round popping seeds and harvesting a few plants we had hanging around for the summer run.

I wont be running summertime weed here much anymore. Maybe a small grow in AC... too many issues, bugs, heat ... molds. It's a shit storm round these parts for pests in July and August. Just take cuts and keep em going till late August and start back up. The buggers like the heat, and I like the Canadian (not)heat!
