Our Ongoing Grows

Well, been awhile since I said what's up in the gardens.............. They are growing... I put the sprouts in the veg tent... It's abit warmer than under them LED's. I think they will be great,,, in a time and place. They wood be great.

I still have 1 1500 watt HPS to put in the flower room... Temps are getting lower. Now I keep an 80-degree daytime temp, with 2500 watts. Nights get kind of cool. 65? or so. As temps drop,, I slow the intake down and up the wattage of lights... Can get down right cold in there, iffin I wanted... Outside ambient temps are possible....

But ONE DAY,,,,, I'll get two dedicated 220 volt fuses in the electric box for X-mas???????????? Not this one....... Man, I'd love to up my flower room with tons of electricity. Split Air,, with 4 1500 watt HPS bulbs a burning... Bee ALL Father Nature Could Be.......

Oh welllllll... Dream,,, dream big. I love these Master Blaster Ballsts.......... When temps agree. Isn't a way to say the difference from 1000 watts to 1500. Like an HPS against a CFL......... I run 2 in the winter under a 4' light rail, with a Magumn XXL Hood. The hood is damn near 4' across............ Well anyways;

But it is awesome.

When I went from 600 watts to 1000 I couldn't believe how much more radiant heat was created.
I cannot imagine what 1500 would be!

From the nodes that were bad's placement,, it could be anything from the lungs up to my hair... But after the radiation, I didn't have anything lighting up enough to concern them. The radiation sticks to cancer cells and then it GLOWS under a Cat Scan.My infected nodes were like 12,, brightness,,, and I have alot of 3-4 brightness areas.

Led Zep rocked...... I rememeber sitting in my room cranking Zep and Sabbath, maxed out,,, under blacklights and sound activated lights.
Black light poster of the mouse flipping a eagle off, that was about to kill his ass. I grew a plant on the patio for the first time. Smoked the fan leafs and got a buzz too... Not that is was any good, but a 13 year old gets high pretty easy. Then the next year,,, my plant grew hairs on it..... Man I thought something was wrong,, till I found out the difference between males and female. In plants that is.

Yea stuff is called Old Stage Green Cleaner. I started using it one year when I got hit for the irst time with Hemp Mites... Nasty critters. But like Lazy said,, works great on mites or PM. with lower doses it will really clean the dusts that clog the leafs intake ports. Stogma or something like that. Another good wash is the safers soaps... Lower levels make the leafs soft and 'healthy' looking...

i remember partying to black sabbath led z we had the black light set up lol i kinda forgot about that till reading your story,maybe the rso worked if they can't find anything i think thats good stuff just keep growing thats helps with things!:thumb:
 
My head is like a football.................... Oh well,,, just another day in paradise'''... I have to say,, one day under MH lamp and the seedlings look happier already.... Temps or the lighting spectrum? Whatever it is,,,,, they look better........ I really light florescent lamps to start seeds under. I like to use these big CFL,,, but I have tons of room in my veg tent for a change.. So it's a MH light for them for now. I'll see what smell I can identify tonight BL. When the lights come on... Damn a hella difference in my seedlings in just acouple days aftr taking them out from under this LED light. I mean they perked right up like hell. Like night and day. Like said,,, I don't know if it's the color,,, or the fact it was colder?????? But it's not like I don't have some heat out here........ BL I said that Plucking Genus was going kind of slow,,, damn you should see her now, she's really coming around,, she looks like a a 15-yr old boy at a strip club. And I tried to identify the smell off the wildberry,,, my nose is frried........ But it isn't pine now.. More a desiel type smell... I'll have to ask someone better suited than me... Not Miss J either,,, but I do have a friend that can smell. That sounds bad but true.

I also have 5 new seeds above ground, 1 Swiss Skunk, Purple Envy, Plucking Genius, Rock Star Kush, anda Dutch Delights. Thhe Rock Star is a Reg tho..........
Stickyone, I've used those cfl lamps you posted on your before to grow in cabinets and cardboard boxes before. But the ones I'm talking about are 300 watts. I got ahold of this cool little hood that works on all self ballasts CFL lamps. In the dead of summer I stick a 125 watt in it for starts. And a 300 watter in the winter. When I first got it I opted for the 250 watter.. I know I can't make up my MF'ing mind....... I have a bad habit of saving bulbs... More than just acouple or back ups. But then I replace my HPS lamps every year Oh here's a pic off the net of it;

Costs just alittle more than like a 4 lamp T-5 setup. But then I like T-5 for clones. I really like the T-12 better ffor cloning, but. I am way beyond my allotment of lights for awhile. Besides I've been downsizing. I don't even really get rid of enough smoke to cover things anymore. The market isn't what it use to be. And I've been a Rebel so long,,, I woodn't want to do it the 'right' way. I don't like what the Gov does with 90% of our monies,,,, so I won't declare but 10% of my life to them. I think that makes us even.

nice litter of pups you got there woody the little babies look good to,i almost went for those but i like the flexibility of the other and the price i can take one of those and put rite down into the plant as long as its not touching anything it won't burn but it will light up the plant down inside!:)
 
Another good thing about what your working with Sticky, is multiple points of light. Alittle here,, alittle more here. They can do wonder gram per watt too. I'd sure love to be able to drop afew watts of another color into my flower-room. Alittle blue in there. CFL lights wood be my choice. But this little hood, works great for my small tent. Least for a good 16" in depth of a level canopy over a 16"x32" square. Like I said that is what I usally use to start plants. Right now I have this LED hanging in there,, and rather than work,, I thought I'd try it on a veg light and see whats what. Temps are getting lower for sure... And dirt really can conducts cold temps. Sometimes it pays to have a light that makes alittle heat?

i here ya on the heat issue its getting to 80 in there thats warmer than i want my pantry lol i most likely won't do this again in there its a pain in the ass when i want something out of there i have to pull one or both out to get to what i want they are doing well though we are going to have sunshine for the next week so they'll like that!

I have two 300w leds in my 4x2x5 tent and the temps are 82-86.. tent is in a closet though so it traps heat more then a room. Nice and toasty in there.. since its winter now i love warming up in there its awesome lol. Like a dry sauna! Pups are looking awesome as always.. cant wait to run mine. Have a good day man!
