Our Ongoing Grows

True Jandre. I've been thinking about asking. I have been buying stock from the same seed bank for acouple years now. I guess it woodn't hurt to ask anyways. Bummer I wanted to try that Bubbleious. I think I'll contact them and ask anyways. Couldn't hurt. I've had great luck as far as germination rates till this order. Over all I ain't complaining. Least we have these genetics available to us at last.
Well I still got that Paki-Ryder trying to do its thing. But man she's got some weird buds growing. I got a pic but it's alittle off. All the buds are growing like this. Truth said I have my doubts if she's going to turn out rite. I'm on the lookout for that sign of hermie. All that mixed up sunlite might have triggered that trait. You can see what I'm a talking about at the tip of this bud;
https://www.420magazine.com/gallery/data/500/Ropes.JPG
Here's a bud that looks blended together, but if ya go look close it's a bunch of wispy ropes.
bud157.JPG

The main top looks sad. She did that 5-6 inch stretch and it's still bear as a babies ass;
top60.JPG

Well I also moved the smaller kids to a bigger tent. I fired up the 400 watter for these babies to veg in. I don't want to do anything to restrict the Auto's. I like the stance on these auto's. Short stocky and throwing out some side branches allready;

Weather been the same, drops of Oregon Sunshine just about everyday. Man when we going to get alittle sun so the plants can thrive. My outdoor plants are doing ok I guess. Some are over 4' already. I can also use some sun, got that big expense of the pool and can't even use it. I'd hate to see the gas bill if we tried to heat the damn thing now. But the 'weather' man, I use the term lightly, calls for some nicer weather come next week.
Abit back I had gave a friend one of my vantage clones. If ya remember they all went in to flower and had to reveg. Well mine never wanted to stop flowering so I brang them in and let them go in the flower room. BTW still GREAT WEED, Vantage. But anyways, my friends plant was acting the same, but he got hit with some bud rot. He's a new grower I'm thinking about taking under my wing. But anyone who has had to reveg knows it's iffy with larger plants, leaves grow everywhere and thick. I found it easier to just cut the plant down to a nub. Leave the smaller lower ones and really cut her back. Seem to regroup and gather alittle faster.
Miwa, I seen them pretty things ya got growing over there. props for sure. I do go cruise friends sites just about everyday. interesting one you got going. Always something hopping.
Jon happens. Just pissed me off that the damage was so visiable. I mean a blind man wood've seen the defects.
Well Enough said for a minute. Hell it's 5:15 and I don't think I'm going to get any sleep. My neck hurts when I'm up and about, and hurts when I lay down anymore. So just buck up Wood and hang till the 9th. My next doctor vist. I don't want to take anymore morphine cus it doesn't really work. and I can do without the side effects myself. I hope eveyone is doing great out there, where ever there is. This camper is going to go burn a dubie and veg himself. Keepem Green

That Auto looks like it is a freak! LOL Better luck on next batch of seeds for bubbleliciuos sure is a keeper strain if ya get a indica pheno type like mine. And to think I almost lost that strain and my blue berry strain.....Only thing that saved me was I shared those genetics last year and was able to get a clone of each back from person I shared it with :) Everything else you got going on...is doing A1...hope you get more sun this year brother and sister grower :high-five:

Yea twas a bummer Jandre. Lost 3 of the last 5 I greminated. I sent them a fast letter with them pic's. I should've gotten alittle clearer ones tho. I didn't complain, just stated they need to look atad closer at their product. Well tonite I got a reply. Said next time I order, send a copy of last order and they'll replace them. Cool,,,,,,,,, Man I wonder how many seeds these vendors sell. I know there are alot of people who buy hundreds at a time. And those 5 packs must be flying out the window. But thats alot of packing, for peeps like me, that buy alot of single seeds. You figgure they have yo pick up a seed and cuttings from the original packages. Oh well I threw another seed on the cable box. The other Moby Dick. Hey seed looked heathy anyways. But after a day that sickly looking yellowish tap root started to show. I hate that. It starts to poke out of the seed shell, then starts to yellow and stops growing. I stuck it in a small pot under dirt anyways. Knock on wood. I guess the stock is old? Well strike two on Moby Dick.
Well this is pissing me off. Out of the last 6 seeds I threw in, 4 didn't make it. I will not give up. Sooooooooooo I threw afew more up there. A Ice seed, a 'Doctor', and a Pineapple Express. Lets see what happens this time.
IGG that plant makes me wonder if I'm just not asking for trouble and wasting a plant slot on nill weed. To far in to stop now. Sisco said he bout smoked his up last time I looked. But I need to ask how the herbs rate. Like scale 1-10. I never seen a 10 yet, seen alot of one hit wonders in my day, but not a 10, but I'll keep looking and growing. I'll never find a 10. If I ever find a 10 then whats next?
Kids are starting to use up alittle of that space. Lowryders are really starting to go. They started on 6/10. 21 days old. And growing fast. I just transplanted them into 2 gallon smart pots. Black gold amended with some Mykro-30. I also added alittle extra bone meal, and worm castings. I've been watering the lowryders with plain water. The Mykro's has some organic fertilizers in it. Well atad of molasses in it. Just atad. I find you use even alittle extra molasses, and you'll find out what gnats look like. I figgure they have enough fertilizers atleast till they get heavy into flower and I'll juice them atad.
Outside,,,,,,, well we've seen afew broken sunny days. Will the sun ever shine here. To cold to even start heating the pool. Summers well upon us. The 4th. Last year me and Miss J was soaking in the pool watching fireworks. I guess I'f I want to swim we'll just have to pay the piper when the gas bill comes in. What goods a pool when you can't go swiming? Ok outside, well least the days are long enough to send my Cripit I've been trying to save back into veg finally. YEA. Something going rite. Now I can clone her and try her for what I really. A SOG grow. She flowers in about 40 days give or take. Pretty soild meds, just not a big yielder. But she has potential. Here she is, rememeber she was over 4' tall and flowering pretty bad, and she was cut back to a stump acouple weeks back;
Cripit10.JPG

And here's alittle better shot of her leafage;
C-Reveg1.JPG

Now that Speonik I got growing. Shes over 4' tall now. I hope she'll hit 8' atleast. But she's has these funny look to her big fan leafs. They look like they need some lotion or something. All her new growth looks cool. It's just them big leafs. Check it out;
Leaf36.JPG

and here she is;
Speonik1.JPG

Ok I'm putting alot of faith in this one. It's a Berkley Blue. I just upgraded her living conditions. She's got elbow room now. In a 35 gallon pot. That should hold her. She's suppose to be a Oregon bred stock. Let's find out;
bb76.JPG

Well that's it for a minute. Everyone be safe on this day 4th of July. Rememeber there is alot of cops out there on the road. DUI's are no joke. Smoke a fat one everyone and Keepem Green

Question... you said that they're on top of the cable box... You're not leaving them up there AFTER the root pops out are you? That heat might be what is killing them. It get's almost 100*F on top of those things. 100*F Soil temp will shrivel young roots faster than you can say "Oh crap!"

Germination mats get to 80*-85* max... Just set the cups you're germinating in in a window where they'll get morning sun, or evening sun. I bet you'll have better success that 2/6.

i gotta agree..even my window is too hot...

Sorry about those beans man, I had one or two come like that recently too, pissed me off good. Cant remember, think it was Silver Kush or something. I think they are using machines that chew em up sometimes.
Can't beat the price on the Bubblelicious either...I just hope it turns out like the real Bubble Gum that goes around...Great high, great smell. I have two Bubblelicious babies going now. I also have one BB Gum coming up next to those, sorry you didn't have good luck with it.
Everything else looks good though, nothing new for you!:Namaste:

Hey buddy!

I love this time of year because I get to drool over your outside plants. 35 gallon pot! That should give the BB some breathing room. Hopefully you can steer clear of mold issues. I like the Sputnik - those fans are pretty funky, but the new growth looks great. She has a nice overall shape to her.

Nice pics and updates Wood! :thumb:

I found there are seasons for growing inside. You start off with fall.....perfect season for girls they love it. Winter which plants like cause heat from lights keep them warm but not too warm and seeds pop great on cable box ....that 100 degree temp is brought down by temp of house. Now spring is wet season inside....more humidity need to break out dehumidifiers and ac. summer is worse growing season....you really work to cool things down for girls ...and yes kill seeds on cable box...they get too hot....pop out turn yellow and you know they are cooked :) so summertime i set seeds in plates and paper towels on the counter with no help from a heat source and my germination rates go back to 95%
Also in summer heat i get leaves that wrinkle from heat still nice and green but they look like they need lotion.

So it has been my experience you need to adjust to seasons for clones and seeds and keep girls as close to 75 as you can ( which I can't...cause i need better AC) and things smooth out....Like clones in the garage in winter get cold and grow slow... so add heat...and so on :thumb:

WOW alot of input. Cool. But all in all I usually have like 85% germination rates. I've been using the cable box since I moved here. I put 3 on there again last nite. So far 2 have cracked The Ice plant has a inch long pretty white tail gong and the Doctor looks like shes going to make it. The third, a pineapple express hasn't shown sign yet. I don't know if a packages as small as these even go thru x-ray. I know they do larger packages like that, but smaller enevlope size one are usally never touched my human hands. That part is all automated. I can't call whats going on with some of these seeds. I know seeds viablity decreases with age. And I know they don't update stock alot. Some vendors claim to renew the seed supply with new seeds every 3-5 years. Who know these Moby Dick seed could've been the last they had and were 'older', rememeber 2 of them seeds were damaged goods. I think they are just old stock. I know we can't get 100% but that first run pissed me off I lost a Blue-Gum plant. Seed never cracked period. Rhe Bubblious was damaged with a large chip out of it. When it was trying to germinate looked like all that happened was the white from the food leaf started pop out of the seed. But no tap root. I'm not doubting I may lose a seed or two but all in all, I'm happy with the over all germination rates I get with my methods. And I don't doubt there is a posiablity I may have fried a seed or two. Thing happen. Least I'm glad the Ice plant is ready to be transfered to soil today. Fact BRB I'm agoing to do that right now...........
SUN SUN SUN. Now another problem. Damn pool heater wont start up. The pad doesn't lite up. I checked the wires at it junction box. They are intact. Maybe I should touch my tounge to them and see if they are live. jk.
Yea that Berkley Blue is going to be able to become all it can be. Whatever that is. July 5th and it's finally sunny and hot. Hopefully we make up some of it come the end of the season. That Speonik is going to be a tree. She's in a 15 gallon pot, as is the NL X BB out there. I have that P-91 in like a 10 gallon pot. IF she'd ever show sex, I'll upgrade her to a 35 gallon also. Those two plants are suppose to be local outdoor strains from Stoney Girl. Suppose to be able to weather out Oregon's Coastal weather. Hope so. I'd love to be able to show some pounds of herbs again. I haven't had a kilo in my hands since last fall. That P-91 could easily yield a key. Thanks Xlr
IGG yaknow. Hell I tried to clone in the winter afew times out in the 'Office' and they never took. Got to run repair mans here for the pool. Hell here goes another grand damn it.
Keepem Green

0Thank god for small favors. After alittle trouble shooting we think we found the problem with the heater. A unit call master control. Cost was about 500$. And seems it was the problem. Heaters up and running. It better hurry winter is rite around the corner. Waters 78 degrees now. We like it 90.
Ok just another fast set of pic's of the main outdoors plants I have going. There will be afew more smaller ones before its over. Bt smaller I'm meaning plants that will finnish under 5' tall. I have hope for these tho. The Oly one I'm worried about is the P-91. She was a regular seed and she hasn't shown sex yet. I started another when I started her. And it sexed out male. This one looks female, strong branch structure, and bushy. Usally that signals female to me;
P-918.JPG

Next the NL X BB. Shes going to be a monster;
NL_X_BB5.JPG

Ok the Speonik shes the tallest I got going as of now;
Speonik2.JPG

We got a Star-47;
S-471.JPG

Also that Yumbolt-47;
Yumbolt-472.JPG

And a Green Posion;
Posion1.JPG

That Berkley Blue;
BB77.JPG

Ok Here's the Ice plant just getting started;
Ice8.JPG

And here's one just finishing up and is in the dark for a day or two, Skunk;
Skunk61.JPG

Thats just a fast update Keepem Green

Thanks ya'll. I think I'm going to do alittle experiment. I have some extra seeds from a earlier kind of unexpected seed venture. I have them Bubba Skunk seeds, and some called Wood's White. I'm going to throw 15-20 seeds ontop my cable box to see what happens. See how many crack and how many don't. Might show me if' I'm frying many, that might prove if it's a heat issiue. I guess I'll just use Bubba Skunk. I could use afew more plants to grow out anyways. Well I'll check again in 24 hours and see whats up.
Well it's looking like I got 4 new strains started up. #1, Special Queen from Royal Queen, #2, Dinafem Auto Cheese, #3, Ice from Nirvana, and #4 Doctor from GreenHouse. No idea how many Bubba Skunk are going. I've allready transplanted 2 that have a happy heathy tap root showing.
Well outta of 12 seeds of the Bubba Skunk I have 6 started. I started thinking I kind of cut the seed atad early. I got cose to 150 seeds out of her, but there are afew paler ones mixed in. I think I'll have to try a different seed. One that was 100% mature for a good test. SOOOOO I just counted 15 Wood's White seeds out. These are a cross between KC White and a Blue Berry. I grew out one of these acouple years back and what I rememeber she's atad on the sativa side. I think KC Brains tends to lean to the satvia side in their seeds. I could be wrong but oh well.
SUN SUN SUN. And calling for sun for awhile. Maybe a week of it. Whats my plants going to think. I'll tell ya, just these last 2-3 days of sun, my plants have taken off. If ya look back at the last pic of Speonik, and then this update, she's grown 4-5" in 3 days. Acouple days ago there was still 4" of my stake out her top, but now she's way past it;
Speonik3.JPG

I wanted to grow out some lowryders at the peak of the sunshine here, and well I got these 3 growing out there now. 2 gallon smart pots, black gold organic soil amended with Mykro's 30 and extra blood/bone meal, plus worm castings for this grow. Oh btw same soil for all outside, except I use MG till my plants start to flower. Then well I'll cross that bridge when I get there. I use alot of MG Bloom outside also. That just the plants I grow for landscaping. Hell I go thru afew gallons everyday for sure. I'd go broke using top line fert's on my sun grown weeds. Here's the Low Ryders;
L-R.JPG

And just to put alittle perspective on how big these girls are getting;
Kids_2_.JPG

Ok That's it for now. I'll update more as soon as I give these new seeds 24 hours. Now I have no idea what to do with all these kids I'm starting. I'll keep 2-3 Bubba's and 2-3 Wood's White for the fun and hell of it. Well thanks for the complments eveyone. I wish the best for all out there also and Keepem Green

James the 1st, Welcome. Yea they are finaly getting their chance to soak up afew rays. Years well along and I can honestly say this has been the first good week of growing weather. Thanks for dropping in and feel free to shout out anytime ya want.
That's bad Miwa. Makes all that seed hermie prone also. If was up to me I'd shit can that whole seed lot. And anything even close to it. I might be going over the line alittle, but I've seen to many crops lost to afew hermie's gone unknowiced. Chances are all them seeds are probly bad. I know I woodn't want to invest the time space and money on any further chance of seeded pot. Get some fresh stock for sure, I need to go catch up acouple pages over at your house. Or journal I mean. Next year I'm going to plan alittle better and get them aclimated for the transition from inside MH to those 13 hour outdoor spring days. Revegging works, but it sure puts alot of strain and them poor girls. I know next year I'll always have some larger plants outdoors, least every year from here on, till it becomes a problem, But alittle extra care is really needed. I know I messed up afew plants this year. But I am proud that I have atleast 1 of the 3 strain I bought from Oregon, for Oregon. Berkley Blue, P-91, and Cripit. I'll say this, that P-91 really could be a mighty fine plant. I hope it's female. Shes over 3' and bushy as hell. She's about the happiest looking plant going out there. I just am starting to see a nub showing. Hell that started acouple days back, and still hasn't progressed anymore. Least to my eyes.
Ok afew things going on around here. I know IGG you wasn't getting all they claimed it to be in the 'Cripit'. I did acouple different pheno's. I had one that flowered out into resonable weeds at 38 days I think it was. Just wasn't alot of it. But it was cover with diamonds for sure. Here's a old pic of her;
Cripit-i_2_.JPG

Well here she is still alive and she's had a long road. She also like yours Miwa, had to reveg. Revegging really puts alot of strain on a plant. I won't know till I flower her out if she's going to flip hermie on me. Could. Very well could. But man I cut this baby down from 3-4' to a nub because she was so far into flower, I feared bud rot if I left the flower's on her. Here she is;
Cripit12.JPG

You talk about a stalk. She's got some size and root system. She's in a #7 smart pot. I plan on doing a flip with her. Well here's the trunk;
Cripit_2_5.JPG

I plan on taking atleast a dozen clones either later tonite or tomarrow. She has all the clones anyone could ask for. I bet I could take 100 clones off just her. Well 50 anyways;
Clones90.JPG

Well I also have 2 of these. Star-47. Get genetics in this baby. I have one outside. I plan on flowering one of these inside and hanging on to the other incase it's the "one'. Star-47;
Star-476.JPG

I also have some OG Kush going. I have one in flower. She went in on 6/10. She's about 3' tall and just starting to pack on that wieght. I'm lazy about pic's in the flower room. I hate HPS affect. But here's here offsprings. I have 4 going all the same;
OG-Kush2.JPG

Special Queen. From Royal Queen Seed. Looks like a late starter for my outdoors. But still she could become a nice little bush. You can see I topped her at the second set of leaves;
S-Queen.JPG

Ok another is the Dinafem Auto Cheese. I don't think I'd ever top a auto flowering plant, unless I knew the plant. Some plants you sure woodn't want to waste any veg time on recovery. Just let them blow and go as fast as posible;
Auto-Cheese.JPG

Hey is ya out there my friend check out the Paki Ryder. It's still going. All the flowers look like 'Foxtails' as some call them. She's a mess for sure. Well I asked Miss J to clean the leafage off a bud and got a fair pic of her. Ugly MFer for sure;
P-Ryder4.JPG

Well I'm outta here. Hope all is good and keep it that way Keepem Green
Auto-Cheese.JPG

Well everyone had me wondering about this heat thing for my germination rates. Temp outside is getting up there alittle, 87 degrees. Taking that in mine it could be very hot on top of my cable box. I always cover with plastic wrap then cover with a magazine to keep it dark for the tap root to emerge unhindered. Well I don't know alot about anything so I ran a test with 'Woods White' seeds. I placed 15 seeds uptop on the box, covered with plastic and let her go. At about 20 hours 3 seeds cracked and were transplanted straight out. That left 12 more seed. I looked at all seeds to make sure they weren't crushed or nicked, or nonviable seeds. Well here's what I have now ate 32 hourse after starting;
Seed5.JPG

Looks like 2 haven't cracked 'yet'. But anyways I threw them away. I do need the numbers right now. I cut the Cripit up for 12 clones. They, the clones, started to wilt prety fast. That night before I took the clones I feed the mother plant just alittle Super Thive, and 7 mils of B-1 vitamins in her water.I just cut the clones and dipped them in Vitagrow rooting compound, and sprayed they with Vitagrow's anti-wilt. I got acouple in there that might not make it but looks like I should get 10 outta 12 clone to take. Next I got to clone a plant I have problems getting to clone. Plants call PassionFlower. I cloned some acouple years back and they took great. I did it in a areo cloner tho. These Cripits are just going in rapit rooter plungs under a domme. Above it is a dual T-5. The 24" unit. It fits great in my closet and keeps a good temp gpoing for now.
I plan on vegging these clones for a very short time before I flip them over. These should finish in 40 days . The last Cripit I smoked was great pot, just wasn't a sizable yield. Well well well, If I take these 12 clones, veg 2 weeks max after roots show, then chuck her in flower. Meawhile I'll cut more off her so that I can have 6-8 more to grow and then find a nice bushy little one to grow a nice mother plant to hang onto for future clones. I'd really like to see what Vantage crossed with Cripit wood come out like. Very intresting
I'll bb in awhile. Damn summer flu sux's bad. Keepem Green
