Isn't it weird how the SLH is so sensitive to high N? I have never tried that strain but it must be badass

try it bro, it's something you will want to keep around forever. It takes very very little N and yields some insane potent bud. After a good 3-4 week cure, the buds are a nice brownish color and will blow your head off. I smoked a good 4 plants steady without any other strains in between and never felt like I built a tolerance. I smoke multiple times a day and I would still get ripped off one hit of that stuff. It will be in my garden forever

I would try it!!! but it grew out some balls!!! so it went bye bye!!!

so, I found a spot for the 2 other boys outside, now I have another males question!!! I'm pretty sure I can look to BID for this answer!!!

When is time to cut the nuts, and save the pollen??? I am thinking of devoting 1 nug to some pollen on my GDP?!?!?!? But I need to know when it is time to nuttier!!!

you will actually see them start to burst open on their own. Generally when this happens, the balls surrounding it will be ready to pop and collect, or you can just take it from the ones that pop naturally

in your situation, i would watch those males closely and with a few light proof containers be ready to catch pollen ans flowers from them i would collect in stages as to ensure viability, try to get them just as they pop open ,lets back up,,,,,,,,,,ok b4 this ,pick the male you like best,check the smell by rubbing the stems even scratch it a bit then smell your fingers,pick the best based on growth pattern,stem strength,smell, and look with a magnifier to see if they have trichs ,who has the most,you can even do a quick dry and have a male smoke, you will find the winner, back to the future,,,,,,,,,,,you want to freeze the pollen after you collect it, if the girls are not ready or your not gonna use it right away,but not all in one container, after you freeze it you will get one shot after you thaw and use it,,it cant be returned to the freezer,so several samples is best, and if you take them at different times you have a better chance of getting the most potent pollen, females are more or less ready when they have nice fresh pistles and buds, seeds take about 3 weeks to form, the calexes will split open and show you the seeds, sometimes they will fall out,check the soil!! theres some pics in qtl's journal and my gallery on how i pollinate the females,,um i cant think of anything else,lemme know if you need more info

So I went in to check on the last seedling today, and guess what I had seen!!!

another set of nuts!!! all 4 seedlings came out as males!!! I can't believe it!!! I give regular seeds a try and I get all males!!!

Now I know why I like Feminized

Wow, all nuts huh? I have been pretty lucky when using reg seed or bag seed. I usually get more females than males. But fem seeds does remove the guess work.

how frikkin strange! you really got buttbanged buy the odds on this go round! im prolly jinxing myself by saying it but i usually get mostly to all female i have had 1 male in the last 20 seeds not counting the current 4, 1 of which is a fem, i have not flipped them into flower yet, soon i will, better lock next pop session bro!! damn.....

I am going to do a 12/12 seed experiment still, I am going to pop another Afgoo down for a 12/12... and along with that, I am trying to get some Alien OG clones from my cousin!!! He has Blue Dream as well, but I am more interested in the Alien OG!!!

man I hope that doesn't happen to me.. My next order is going to be 1 fem Lucy, 1 fem pineapple express, and 4 reg malawi gold.. I'm most excited about the malawi, and I'm hoping for at least one male and one female.. I just want to get some of that pure sativa pollen to start enhancing my current favorites, and a good female to make a mom from.

sucks you had bad luck with the SLH man, don't get discouraged and try her again, maybe get a fem seed from the single seed center. I got 2 from there in the event one didn't germ, but I got lucky and struck gold with the first seed and got a killer pheno I don't ever want to lose. Good to have a backup seed though if anything were to happen. I've bought 8 strains from there in single seed form, never had a single germination problem

well comes to find out that my cousin has more seeds, from the same source, but more seeds means more tries!!! YAY!!!

So, I just found out something about my other cousin, she is a medical grower as well... but she is not that good!!! she kinda gave up after my Afgoo harvest, she got a little discouraged that she had been growing for 5 years and I come out with my second harvest and better than she has ever gotten... anyways... she had a full setup with the HPS system!!! so if she no grow no mo!!! imma see if she will donate or sell it to me cheap!!!???!!!??? I hope so!!!
