Organic Wars: Air-Pots Counterattack /Blueberry/MK-Ultra/TDream/L.A. Confidential

Ok, here we go again after a while. I was supposed to start this grow in November, but had a bit of problems with new grow room, so everything went belly-up :rollit: Fortunately, we hit'em hard and eventually got it :bong:

This time we're gonna deal with totally new strains for me, grown from feminized and regular seeds in the same time. All strains will be started and finished in superoots air-pots. Basically that will be a small indoor, organic grow.

So here they come! My picks for the grow!

Tangerine Dream feminized (Barney's Farm) x1
MK-Ultra feminized (TH Seeds) x 1
Original BlueBerry feminized (Dutch Passion) x1
L.A. Confidential feminized (DNA Genetics) x1
Unknown indica, possibly a landrace regular (Pakistan? Morocco?) x 5

We're gonna germinate all seeds then put them in air-pots on 24/0 for two weeks and then under HPS 400 Double Spectrum for another three-four weeks. Then they'll be switched for 12/12 flowering for another 7-9 weeks (depends on the strain).

This will be fully organic, indoor grow in my own soil mix.

Soil mix is homemade compost, soil from vegetable grows, eggshells, coffee grounds, molassas, organic Miracle Glo for vegetative stage, bone meal, perlite, worm castings a bit of slaked lime and Rootgrow mycorrhizal fungi inoculant (UK brand). I have about 25 lbs of it for start and then will be adding another organic compost with a bit different ingredients like bat guano and shit.

We'll use...
1L air-pots for vegetative stage.
6L air-pots for flowering.

First we're gonna operate with 6-8 CFLs.
Later we'll switch to 400 HPS.
Maybe adding CFLs for the last two weeks.

We're gonna use a small grow box 5 feet square, isolated with strong mylar, cooled with a small fan. There will be passive air intake and outtake, no way to bulid a duct.

We're gonna try not to go over 28°C with the temperature

Grow room will be clean and neat (it's not even ready yet, but who cares?). PH and humidity are unknown :yummy:

Plants will be watered no more than two times a week after they reach 4".

At the moment all seeds are being soaked in water with a bit of chamomile :hippy: Some are even slowly cracking and will be transferred to a styrofoam germinator today.

Looking to the future, guys.

I got my seat, looking forward to it Conrad.... Great choices in Genetics.... Keep n eye on the DNA strains, been hearing some grumbling about hermies and DNA...:ganjamon:

Re: Organic Wars: Air-Pots Counterattack /Blueberry/MK-Ultra/T. Dream/L.A. Confidenti

Hope not, mate :grinjoint:
I never had a hermie and want to stay without one for another 7 yrs :)

Take your seat and make yrself comfy :bong:
You're kindly welcome.

Re: Organic Wars: Air-Pots Counterattack /Blueberry/MK-Ultra/T. Dream/L.A. Confidenti

Yeah, let's hope all seeds will crack :)

Thx bro.
I'll try not to keep you waiting too long for the signs of life in these shells. 3 of feminized seeds are already cracking, only MK-Ultra seems stubborn. Bag seeds are behind - here you can really see a difference.

Yo everybody! :tokin:
Good news is even MK-Ultra cracked eventually so we're having 100% germination rate in my incubator. I'm happy cause I didn't want to miss on that great indica :)
I really need to take a photo :) Bag seeds are taking it slow on the other hand, which was easy to guess.

Definitely it's gonna be an indica orientated grow, as I love that old skull bliss eruption after smoking heavy shit, so I chosee genetics according to my likes.

Thx for joining this grow journal NEPharmer, we're gonna roll a phatt one in the end :grinjoint:

Here I come with some iPhone pictures - unfortunately my girlfriend is in Italy and took our camera with her - some better ones will come later anyway :smokin:

Here's my incubator with wet kitchen towels:

Here we have bag seeds on a whisky pack's top:

Here is a BlueBerry seed sprouting (the quickest):

And here we have 1L air-pot, ready to use:

1st seed is going to the ground tomorrow morning.

OK, just updating :smokin:

Blueberry went into the soil this morning and I'm just misting the top layer with water. The rest of the seeds are speeding up and they'll be probably ready to plant in two days.

In the meantime I got hold of Jack Herrer and after smokin' it I have to say it's not as good as mine :tokin: There's no better weed than your own weed

Sure is... :smokin:

Blueberry broke the ground today afternoon. Tomorrow it's going under the lamps :grinjoint:

Had a small problem, plant was blocked by a shell, which didn't come off even above the ground. I decided to take it off myself with a small nail. Hope it didn't spoil my efforts.

Tangerine Dream is in soil since yesterday. The other two seeds have to still grow their tap roots a little bit more.

No, that shouldn't be a problem, as long as you were delicate. That happens somtimes, it ussually will fall off later, but I ussually do what you did and give it a little help.

I'm happy I did it, cause it let the leaves unfold. Now my baby's back on track :grinjoint:
