Ok, here we go again after a while. I was supposed to start this grow in November, but had a bit of problems with new grow room, so everything went belly-up Fortunately, we hit'em hard and eventually got it
This time we're gonna deal with totally new strains for me, grown from feminized and regular seeds in the same time. All strains will be started and finished in superoots air-pots. Basically that will be a small indoor, organic grow.
So here they come! My picks for the grow!
Tangerine Dream feminized (Barney's Farm) x1
MK-Ultra feminized (TH Seeds) x 1
Original BlueBerry feminized (Dutch Passion) x1
L.A. Confidential feminized (DNA Genetics) x1
Unknown indica, possibly a landrace regular (Pakistan? Morocco?) x 5
We're gonna germinate all seeds then put them in air-pots on 24/0 for two weeks and then under HPS 400 Double Spectrum for another three-four weeks. Then they'll be switched for 12/12 flowering for another 7-9 weeks (depends on the strain).
This will be fully organic, indoor grow in my own soil mix.
Soil mix is homemade compost, soil from vegetable grows, eggshells, coffee grounds, molassas, organic Miracle Glo for vegetative stage, bone meal, perlite, worm castings a bit of slaked lime and Rootgrow mycorrhizal fungi inoculant (UK brand). I have about 25 lbs of it for start and then will be adding another organic compost with a bit different ingredients like bat guano and shit.
We'll use...
1L air-pots for vegetative stage.
6L air-pots for flowering.
First we're gonna operate with 6-8 CFLs.
Later we'll switch to 400 HPS.
Maybe adding CFLs for the last two weeks.
We're gonna use a small grow box 5 feet square, isolated with strong mylar, cooled with a small fan. There will be passive air intake and outtake, no way to bulid a duct.
We're gonna try not to go over 28°C with the temperature
Grow room will be clean and neat (it's not even ready yet, but who cares?). PH and humidity are unknown
Plants will be watered no more than two times a week after they reach 4".
At the moment all seeds are being soaked in water with a bit of chamomile Some are even slowly cracking and will be transferred to a styrofoam germinator today.
Looking to the future, guys.
