Hey crower! For best results pull these branches under to redistribute the hormone throughout the lower ends, also will promote side branching from these and once they come up repeat the process. Until you are ready to flower then switch to 12/12 and let them come up by themselves. But have them all under the screen before the switch. This way you're ensuring even tops.

I like the screens too!! Great job!! Those plants look very healthy!! I am not planning a scrog grow. However. I might us a similar contraption my next grow. The screen looks like it is going to keep all the bottom branches in the light!! Big Buds are comming!!

My BPN nutes have arrived yesterday!! Yahoo!!:blunt:

Have you grown this strain before? How does it stretch? That is your guide to when to flip, but you want to keep pulling them under each day. All the hard work will be rewarded later.:thumb:

I just tied down my plants at a 90 degree angle and their about 13-14" tall it helps I find if you tie off or hold the point in the stem that will take the most stress and pull it down slowly I didn't damage anything but keep it up anyway your plants are healthy as shit dude :high-five:

Hey HD yes I've been pulling what I can kind of hard since the stems pretty tough now already screwed one up and snapped it off not good lol but this is more of learning something new I appreciate your help alot brother

The one trick I use to pull down stiff stem is get a piliers. Press the stem until it is soft enough to bend down. Don't worry if it get crushed if the step does not snap off they will heal resulting super crop. This will allow you to bend the branches down under the screen. Good luck!

A couple suggestions that may help with this....

Try to always do your bending/training after a good watering...the plants seem a little more flexible and less brittle if worked right after a good watering or within a day of watering...I noticed that when bending with a fairly dry soil, I snapped a lot more branches...they just didn't seem as flexible when dry...

If you have a very thick stem and can't quite get it to bend......supercrop it first.....take your thumb and pointer finger and crush the stem where your bending it by slowly applying pressure and rolling the stem between your two fingers....gently increase pressure and continue to bend the branch down with your other hand until you feel a slight pop/cracklling under your fingers...The idea is to weaken and bend the stem at an almost 90degree without cracking the outside layer of the stem.... I did this in flowering with my last grow and it made a very noticable increase in bud size and weight on the supercropped branches...

I cracked a few on my last grow, but luckily I was in flowering so I had a "casulty nug" that was great for quick drying in the oven and getting an idea what was comming ahead.... If ya break any...clone them..!!!

The ladies are loooking really good crower!!! cant wait to see Crowers Jungle Part II

Hi Crower - they look super healthy. Twelve12, Icemud and others gave great advice based on my experience with LST and other Scrog grows I've seen - as far as keeping things under the screen, etc. Nice job so far my friend! :high-five:

Thanks XL I'm glad to have fellow growers give there knowledge on subjects I've never even thought of doing an now I' am:thankyou:

Your Scrog is really looking good Crower!!! Screen's about 1/3 way there already!! nice!! I can't wait to see these in flower, you will have a carpet of fine nuggies to glare at and salivate!!! I definitely can see a pound out of this grow!!

I just went through the whole grow from start to finnish. Your plants look fantastic and I can tell there are going to be a lot of choice flower tops!!! I am really getting sold on Scrog! How tall did you make your screen from the floor? Going through your journal I noticed a member say you need enough space to trim the bottom brances and keep it clean. I plan on growing 5 plants in a 4x4 area this time. Do you think the scrog would work well for this. From what I see from what you are doing. I am thinking it will....:goodjob:

your planst are looking awesome. cant wait to see them mature. i starting a scrog grow aswell. just wainting on the mail to arrive with my new toys. and then i can take some clones. ill deff keep checking your ladies out

Hey crower, you got a lot of great members giving you great advice on how to do this scrog. Im glad Youre listening, it will greatly reward youre harvest in the end. The main thing is to not let any branches get above any others, BUT if I may add my two lincoln profiles: a good thing to start doing at this point is try to fill the edges out before the middle and let the edges come through the screen slightly faster than the center. Maybe try to make an upside-down pyramid shape, but with very wide angles. Maybe try to keep the center 6" shorter than each of the edges with a gradual slope before the switch to 12/12. This does a couple things: it keeps the center from overpowering the sides and covering them up, essentially letting them grow even buds throughout. It also makes the stretch even the entire canopy out, due to the U-shape of the HID lightings intensity. Basically, at the beginning of 12/12 try to have a slight concave shape in the canopy and by the time the stretch is over: nice flat valley of green. (i probably couldve described that with 1/3 of the space i used had i thought how to say it lol)
