Also I am surprised the heat effected them that much, did the media dry out when they got hot? Just curious because I have been putting my children outside during the heat of the day for some full spectrum Sun Love. Take care, II will be subscribing to see how these LEDs go full term. I want to pull the LED trigger but that price is HUGE.

I just breezed through to the end... dang bugs and nute burn! I did the same to my LS clones. I should have left them alone with there Fox Farms.. but I had to stick that CRF nutes in all of them
I just yanked them and tossed out the Dynamite, will be purchasing new beans in a minute.

Babies are still hanging in there, I think a couple of them hit the res, because they started getting bigger fast -- I'm not going to embarrass myself by taking pictures of them, they still look like total shit.
The two cuts I made of the now long-dead SAGE mom have rooted, and I put them in the little purple 1 gallon hempies tonight, watered each with 1/2 gallon of tap water with 5mg Cal-Mag+ in it. I also took the liberty of planting 3 auto-flowering "Pandora" beans I got. Figure those should be a no-brainer while I wait for the rest of the babies to recover from my abuse!

Well, I just had a revelation: I've been watering with tap water, right? Well, it's not really 'tap' water. I just saw that even the laundry sink faucets are plumbed into the water softener.
I've been salting the shit out of my babies! I gave them all a good flush with the water I've always used for hydro (you know, the store machine stuff
), treated with cal-mag and a drop of Superthrive/gallon. I though they were looking odd, with the veins of the leaves darker green than the blades.
Man, for such a great start, I've really SNAFU'd this grow. Maybe I should bag this one and start over.

Dude I had the same fucking thing happen to me a year ago when I was growing indoor in soil. The fucked up part is I was flowering my plants in my closet spyder mite free not a single bastard. So im all stoked I ended up commin up on some good money so I bought a nice 4x4x8 tent and 5 days later after moving 3 of my girls in BOOM INFESTATION!!!! I've come up with the conclusion that when I was buying all this shit I was spending a ton of time in the local hydroshop (pretty wack dirty hydro shop that i've since stopped going to) and There were a couple dudes there the second day who were complaining of a horrible spyder mite infestation and they were picking up a bunch of sns 217.
SO im guessing I had a bastard jump on my shirt or something and the FUCK hitched a ride into my garden. That or something I bought had some of the bastards on it-I had also bought a floor model exhaust Fan that could have had the mites on it. Or maybe the bag of soil I had also picked up was a bad batch and had some bugs in it.
THAT OR it was a horrible conincidence that some flew into my room through my window. Though I dunno how that happens when your apartments as close as my old one was to the beach-and on the second floor.
Just be clean and careful after getting home from Hydro shops and especially if you have grower friends that have the mites in there gardens. DONT LET THEM IN YOUR GARDEN! make em take a shower and change there clothes haha.
PS if the infested plants are in veg I suggest unloading a spray bottle or two of sns 217. Or neem oil OR lady bugs-if the infestation isn't too bad.

NOt like I don't have enough beans to start, right? I'll check the babies out when I get home from work and decide - I'm supposed to get some MK Ultra x OG Kush and MK Ultra x Amnesia babies from a pal next week, so maybe I'll scrap these bagseed and start fresh.

Spider mites are GONE. I got the no-pest strip thingies, and they're the bomb!
Yeah, I've heard that the no pest strips work good as well. Damn those bastards seem to appear out of freaking nowhere. Evil little fucks! Makes me wanna bleach everything every damn day!

Spider mites oh man i havnt got them yet and i hope i don't i got enough problems with fungus gnats. thankfully you eradicated them early on. it sounds like you are gonna nurse your little ones back to health. If you don't want to deal with all of them you should keep like 2 just to gain a little know how on bringing back your plants from the brink and see how they flourish. I don't know about the auto flower strain you planted but i have grown mostly auto flower strains and they are tough like a Timex ,if you remember the slogan, takes a licking and keeps on ticking. They should do well.

It's too bad about your water softener. I'm installing one in my house as we speak but I'm making sure that the cold water to my kitchen, outside hoses, and to my utility room are both straight from the source. I didn't think it was normal to soften all the water in a home, and it's too bad it's next to impossible to plum everything again. Hope you can find an easy way around that!

I'm picking up about 13-14 sprouted seedlings, MK Ultra x OG and MK Ultra x Amnesia, so if the current babies aren't looking markedly better by then, I will send them to the great bong in the sky -- Probably time to close out this thread and start a new one, or should I just keep on with this one, and hope it becomes epic like an Irish Boy grow?
