Fluffy Cakes is just naturally that way Queen. Wish we all were. Maybe I would quit saying Baa Humbug about Christmas time. Spend everything you have folks...get in deeper debt folks. I used to think it was some kind of religious holiday. Guess we have forgotten that part!

Hey that is great that Fluffy is that way, I was just joking with Fluffy about what I said. I hope she didn't take it personally, if so I apologize. I remember I use to be once upon a time but life and circumstances has made me jaded,cynical and a bit of a bitch at times. As for Xmas, well you know my story as I have mentioned it here before. But I agree with you that society has long forgotten what the true meaning of Xmas is suppose to be. Or you get people who only call themselves helping people during the holiday season from Thanksgiving til the day after Xmas, soon as the day after comes they forget all about looking out for their fellow man. And most have instilled in their kids, it's about the gifts. How I came up, I would get one thing I wanted, the rest of the gifts were things I needed. I still don't see what a young kid needs with an Ipad, Iphone or I anything else.

My wife had the doctor call in some cough syrup with some kind of narcotic in it and I finally got a full nights rest last night. I'm glad that I quit cigs 8 years ago I would be a mess right now probably. My wife didn't tell me anybody was sick or I would have skipped the turkey this year for sure cough, cough.

When Jo quit smoking she left her cigs laying around.....I tried one and away I went again. Can't blame her for what I did. The patches make me sick, so I am looking at cold turkey starting in the morning. Wish me luck.

Hope your cough is getting better. Your Grandmother in law....in my eyes did the right thing....chemo is a last resort and is horrible. I've had a friend go that way. Not good at all. He suffered a long time.

Hi My Queen. I hear you, life is cruel sometimes and we do get bit jaded. I was kinda pulling your chain a bit. I know what you think of Xmas at times. What you said is actually the way the holidays are sometimes. Good folks one day.....bad the day after.

Maybe this will cheer you up. When I was a kid in the orphanage in the middle of the Ozarks, Xmas was pretty cool. It was a Church sponsored orphanage. Each Church around the state would pick a kid, boy or girl and send presents to them. I used to get 10 or 20 belts, ties and all manner of stuff. Xmas night we had a big poker game and would bet with the things we didn't like. On one hand I won, I got 23 toothbrushes. Always had plenty of billfolds, shirts, jeans, and all sorts of stuff. The best part was the Church didn't allow gambling. You never know. :xmas:

Ah new year's eve, that is when I stay in the house cause that is when all the craziness begins with drinking. I don't drink all like that, I may have a drink once or twice a year. Usually not on new years eve but this year I am suppose to be going out so I will see how that goes...

I'm not a drinker anymore either, but I do love to have a glass of good red wine (with a joint) or a delicious single malt whisky (with a joint). Some things are just pure nectar and to be appreciated. I don't chuck it down my neck, I savour it.

I think that's why I like joints, I get to savour the experience more than a smack in the face. I like the weed to smack me in the face :) I have a feeling my choice of strains for the first grow won't give me great couch lock, I do hope the Pineapple Express, Auto Afghan Kush or White Dwarf will give me that next go round :slide:
