OMM's Social Network Grow

Howdy OMM,great photos:)
It seems to me that the hps gives you more stretch or is this just me? either way NICE!:green_heart:

Hi fish cake. :thumb:

Since they all in veg, it does seem the HPS girls are growing better. I have to say the LED girls have jumped in the last day or so, so they may catch up soon. The Lucy and OG18 are turning out to be beautiful plants. I have never seen a Lucy look this one, strange phenotype. :high-five:

rekon the LEDsare a little behind cause you had to wait a week to go to full power. still looks great both sides gota love green:circle-of-love:

Hi Buckshot. It's amazing what a little black strap will do. :yummy:

Might I gently suggest sucanat (sugar cane natural) this is sugar with the molasses left in it. It is way less mess and does not contain by products that may be hard to manage like sodium.

I am growing out that blue moonshine under all LED , the progenitor of those clones is all HID. I wait patiently to see how much better the bud I produce will be :cheesygrinsmiley:

OG18

Omm I am interested in this plant can you tell me more about it? I am pissed (pun intended) about the cat piss seeds that the progenitor has now admited a "mistake" I have another suspect plant but I can't tell. I have shown it as haze but I doubt it. It could be though. I will have to post the baby pics as this plant was retarded in leaf growth and I just kept it because again it was the only seed of the group to take. It now looks very much like this plant so I would like to know more ... if you do

Great photo update. I just realized that you use a large tub to put your pots in the flower room. What a great idea! Never realized before but I can see the benefits of being able to place the pots closer together and also moving them around.

Plants are looking very healthy. I am rooting for the LED girls to catch up. Do you have the light turned on full power now?

Hi Buckshot. Does the sucanat create the same helpful bacteria like Molasses? 2nd question....where do you find it? Always looking to improve. Thanks. :thanks:

Hi Buckshot.
Sorry for the double post,,it's 3 AM here and smoky in here.:cheesygrinsmiley:

Here is the official blurb.

Reserva Privada OG Kush #18 is a true connoisseur quality. Selected feminized OG Kush from cannabis seed that was so outstanding we had to re-feminize her. Out of 40 Plants we had one exception plant "PLANT #18". She is more Sour tasting than OG — and has better yields than the OG. She took the yield and fuely taste of the Chem Dawg with the OG Chem power. Flowering indoors takes about 9 weeks. Her cannabis seeds produce a good yield of about 500-600g/m2. If your a true connoisseur then this is without a doubt a must have for your collection. Get yours while stocks last !!!!

Dang OMM, I'm gonna have to fly on over there and get a taste of that PE man. Let me know when its ready, ill be on the first flight out.

Will do Mate! :yummy:

No problem! :cheesygrinsmiley: this is what I use ... they also make other "sweet" products check out the web site

Domino® Demerara Washed Raw Cane Sugar is crystallized from the initial pressing of 100% pure cane. Domino® Demerara Washed Raw Cane Sugar has a light golden color from the natural molasses left behind after minimal processing. Demerara Washed Raw is a slightly larger crystal than granulated sugar and with a delicate crunchy texture. It is perfect for baking, sweetening your coffee or as a topping on your cereal, fruit or desserts.

Oh, that plant sounds wonderful! I can only hope this plant comes close to that description :cheesygrinsmiley: I know it is not that then ... this is older seed stock

PS to answer your other question "the natural molasses" left behind in that process along with the sugar feeds up those little soil buggers

I like your idea Buckshot! Especially if you are doing hydro. Everytime I used unsulferated molases my ph would go crazy. I also have a harder time adjusting the ph for my soil plant mixture. I remember Cory from BPN saying he would put some cola soft drink with his mixture. I used Soda Stream syrup a few times and I think the plants liked it. It is made from pure cane sugar too.
I have had raw cane sugar before and it is great on everything. Definately going to add to my plants grocery list!!

I've seen other growers use sucanat it the same way as molasses, and it seems to work fine. Just remember that if you are using it as a food source for the beneficials they will also make use of all the extra micros in something like a blackstrap molasses. :thumb:

And I'll admit that I won't be using the blackstrap molasses for anything else...tastes nasty if you ask me!

I'm not a hydro guy, so take what I say here with a grain of salt, but soil growers add carb additives to feed the microbes...it's always been my attitude that using any sugar product in a hydro grow is more like playing russian roulette, than gardening. :) I've followed a couple journals where everything was going fine until halfway through flower the grower thought a little molasses was a good idea, and that was the end of that grow.

I remember Pit Viper using molases in his hydro and he swore by it. I never had any luck with molasses in hydro. It would make my ph go through the roof. I would adjust and next day it would be off again. I can see how it could ruin a good hydro grow.
In hydro I used the botanical sweet and never had a problem.

I know hydro but I like dirt even better. Even though the yeilds are not as big. I like the taste of dirt grown better and I like getting my hands dirty!!
I really think the sugar would not give the ph problems as molasses would.

Hi C F, I just realized I didn't answer this post. I got the large trays at a Hydro store. To me they were over priced. Gotta do what ya gotta do.

Yes Sir, the LEDs are running full blast. The plants kind took off when they went full blast!
