Oldsmokey Grows Blue Cheese & Blueberry With Promix

Day 18 Flower
Good evening :ciao: OK update time things going good with the exception of the issue I mentioned yesterday. I agree with the advise offered that it is Ca deficiency. Blue Cheese 2 & 3 I didn't see it spreading at all rust spots a little more pronounced. Blueberry #1 seems to be spreading a little. Blueberry#2 looks great no signs of any deficiency and the color green I like. I supercropped Blue Cheese#3 two of the tallest branches to try and even out the canopy a bit.

Tomorrow is feed day I am going to keep the MC dosage the same and adding 5ml/Gl cal mag.

I post the rest of the pics in the following post.

They all look great, but I love those BB's.

I see what you’re fighting now. That early-mid flower Ca/Mg crap.

I started giving out 3ml/gal week 1, then 5ml/gal thereafter until like week 6 of flower, then drop it back to 3ml/gal to the end. So far, so good.

That’s with RO water though, but seems to be about the only thing that’s got in front of it so far.

Day 1 of my fencing project and I hate it already. Got the fence ripped down and loaded in the truck except the posts. I have one corner post removed and new one installed. That's enough for one day it's hot and getting hotter as the week goes on. I am thinking I might of picked the wrong week for fencing. I am on the deck having a cold beer and smoking a fatty.:blunt:

Forgot to mention my wife is not feeling very well the last few days. She called the health link number. She has 3 symptoms of covid and is getting tested on Wednesday. They told her that she is supposed to self isolate including from me. I said fuck that honey if you got it were going down together. I feel like my normal self a grumpy asshole. :laughtwo:

My wife is on the side that I have to be careful. I'd have to isolate if I got sick unless the life insurance is up to date. So you have to do what is right and what you feel makes the most sense in each situation.

Thanks my wife is feeling better she got tested yesterday but won't have the results till Sunday. I am still normal ok as normal as I have ever been.

Thanks for asking :high-five:
Ah good to hear! Just keep in mind should either of you get it there are plenty of people that have beaten it. Including my 80 year old father who’s living in a nursing home thats dealing with an internal outbreak that’s led to numerous deaths in the home recently.

Hey @oldsmokey i Hope the tests come back negative for your wife. I'm glad to hear she's feeling better regardless of the results. Our elderly neighbor beat it about a week ago with no lingering side effects so it is definitely beatable.

Good morning starting to have a issue with both blue cheese. Yesterday was feed day. I had to go to a BBQ so I mixed up the nutes before the lights came on and quickly watered all of them soon as the light clicked on before leaving.

When I returned and was looking them over I noticed some rusty spots on a leaf on each of the Blue Cheese.

This is What I think is going on you might remember not to Long Ago I dropped there feed to 4.5,gm/gl from 5gm because I could see a nitrogen toxicity starting. To dark of green colour downward clawing leaf tips. Classic N toxicity. After 2 feedings. At 4.5 things seemed to be improving so I increased the feed to 4.75 gm. Yesterday was the second feedings at 4..75. If I had not been in hurry to water last night I probably would of noticed the darker green creeping back in an the spotted leafs and would not of fed them the 4.75 and would of lowered it probably another.5 gm.

My take on this is K is starting being locked out also possibly a Mg defficiency from to high of N.

Blueberry#1 Ca defficiency Is slowly spreading it is on its second watering at 5.5gm I had raised itt because of the Ca defficiency I will monitor and possibly increase to 6 gm next watering. This one had used more nutes than the rest since day1. Blueberry# 2 looks good at 4.75gm. I should mention I am on a 3 day watering schedule giving them all 8 Lt and getting around 15-20% runoff.

I had a bunch of pics I took last night but I am having problems getting them to load onto the computer. I have a few that I took with my phone because I ran out of memory on The camera.

Blue Cheese#2 Both pics of same leaf about 60 % from the bottom of the plant

A couple of other possibilities. Could this be related to me not adjusting the PH level? This is a first for me. Also couple weeks ago I introduced a led light into the mix exchanging it for the 1000 watt HPS.
If anyone had any thoughts on this I would love to here them.

Happy Saturday wake and bake time:smokin2:
This happens to me it seems almost every grow. I grow in a coco perlite Modified Hempy bucket. This happens mid flower in my Led tent an also my HPS tent. I flower with Advanced nutes, keeping it simple. Sensi grow a&b with bud candy and big bud. I use ro water an add very lil calmag throughout the grow. I mean 1 ml a gallon, very little yet this problem only occurs mid flower.
I’m I’ve tried to nail down the issue but to not avail. It never really leads to much more than what you’re seeing now. Slight rust color on tips an edges of leaves.
Ive attributed it to possibly sudden changes in ppm feedings. If you feed your plant 800 ppm on Monday an then on Tuesday you feed the plant 400 ppm the plant is not ready for the change. The plant will then take in more water than salts an nutrients as plants take in the two separately. I read a great article on this. I’ll see if I can find it for you.
