Yeah dog stairs came out kinda cool. The dog who has the most to gain is dumb as a box of doughnuts so its gonna take a while to learn. Ironically she just used them for the 3 time half an hour ago.

The desk went in and is being used. We had to rent a scissor lift to get it in the house,

Once you understand how to use a meter, and everything is up and running i think its easier. I can walk away from my rig for a week or so without any drama. There are a few things to prepare for a week off, but its pretty easy.

Hydro is just more stuff. Different tools, and the important stuff can be life or death. It can be expensive by comparison, but growing larger plants is much easier in water, and faster usually. I guess it all depends on your idea of harder.

As long as the res is big enough to keep the plants wet and maintain stable PH, a week should be no problem with hydro.

I'm just curious how much more work is put into it compared to coco or promix , what an awesome answer I'm considering trying hydro myself

I am most likely going to use silica. Was trying to get some potassium silicate to make my own. It seems to be hard to find in Canada or I haven't had any luck yet. Can order from the USA but now shipping makes it pricey. If I use Megacrop I might go without ad it has silica. Have you used this stuff it's almost 1/3 the cost of rino skin.

My option is once you have everything dialed in its easy. Like Stilted said you can set it up for a week or more even. I like to be checking thing every day. Also thing happen a alot quicker. Your not waiting a couple of watering to see changes if you change things like nute dosage or ph. On the same token deficiencies can show up quicker. I like being in control of all aspects of the grow. Not relying on mediums to buffer the ph or tying to guess what's in the soil and what to add.

Rosie is still in her bed only got out to eat last night. I carried her outside to go to the bathroom she didn't go at all just went back to the door and ran straight to her bed. She's not happy but will be fine.

My wife has not been feeling well since Friday. We went to a clinic on Saturday that was a waste of time. Yesterday went to see her doctor she has vertigo and is off work for a week at least. She has a big exam on Saturday work related that she is trying to postpone. So I'm Doctor Smokey this week taking care of my two girls.

MC has but a tiny sliver of silica. 0.15% vs 10% for something like Armor Si.
