Tryptophan hangover! The roots look great smokey. Are you over dosing on turkey yet
What about UV light.... find a waterproof light like they use for disinfecting RO water and put one in each tub. Maybe 2 for your tubs. Just thinking outloud. You would have a sterile rhizosphere. The question would be will it hurt the roots. I have a Cleanlight for PM. Its an asskicker and will burn leaves, so its imperative that you keep the light moving, but the lights used for RO systems are much smaller.
UV light would work I think, but it may take some R+D
But you're happy using bleach. I can't imagine you would need it.They also make inline ones for fish ponds and tanks. I’ve considered it, but can’t really justify the expense...
yet.

No I think my turkey dosage is just about right.Tryptophan hangover!
Sounds interesting how much are they? They also make inline ones for fish ponds and tanks. I’ve considered it, but can’t really justify the expense...

It depends on what you get. They start around $40 but go up quickly from there. The ones I have seen would require modification so the light is exposed, which can be a problem for you health wise. And you would probably need one per bucket. It was just a thoughtNo I think my turkey dosage is just about right.

I think It would work... as long as the light doesn't damage the rootsIty did peak my interest did a quick search there are lots of them.
I was thinking of an inline UV light. Treating all of the water being pumped out of the reservoir. I did see one on zon but it's only good for .5 - 1 GPM I am running a 700 gph pump. So I would need about 12 or 13 of them not really feasible. Unless I can find a much larger one but then price would probably be the problem.I think It would work... as long as the light doesn't damage the roots
I believe you will need to clean the roots directly. An inline light will clean the water just fine, but the pathogens will be coming down from the hole the plants live in, so an inline isnt really addressing that. I believe a light thats made for cleaning water tanks would work better. Something with an exposed lightsource. I took a look at McMaster Carr to see what they would offer. They had the inline variety with the hefty McMaster prices..I was thinking of an inline UV light. Treating all of the water being pumped out of the reservoir. Right? @Stltoed reminds me of David Hahn. The stuff some folks have laying around...
The foreman was good enough to let me have it. It was a scrapped lamp. You can see the error circled in red at the "bulb" area to the left of the cathode (pointy thing). It would make a great veg lamp for a couple hundred hours. Its a Xenon lamp so the color is blueish.. But you'd have to run it across the street as it is 10000wattsThe stuff some folks have laying around...
Probably best to use the neighbor's power too.But you'd have to run it across the street as it is 10000watts
Just don't mistake the garden hose for a power cableProbably best to use the neighbor's power too.
Do a Google search on David Hahn and read his story, very bright kid who also had crazy things in his garage.
