Oldsmokey Goes Hydro

Day 15 Veg Update
Hello everyone being lazy today did a video update let me know if you have any thoughts. Have a great day!:roorrip:
I've had leaf issues similar to your rough leaves, but it didnt seem to hinder growth and it went away. I never saw chlorosis.

We are dependant on our nutrient manufacturers to bring all the needed elements to the party, but things like Boron, Manganese and others may not be properly supported. There are between 15 and 20 essential elements needed for plant growth (depending on who you ask).

I guess what im saying is we start with clean water and need to add all the elements it takes to make a plant. It would be easy to leave something out, or not have enough, even having a bit too much, depending on the plants we're growing. Maybe the nutrients we use were targeted at the tomato plant, and caters to different needs. If you look at some of the Miracle-Gro Grow products NPK they are a little hot for pot farmers, one has a Phosphorous in the 50s. A bit aggressive.

From what you were saying it sounds like your Micro nutrient is seriously dated. This type of nutrient has a lot going on and because of this has the shortest shelf life especially once its open, than the other components of a multi part nutrient regimen. Maybe it would be a good idea to replace that nutrient.

I agree with Stltoed on the micro nutes. Thickened leaves with yellowing can be a boron deficiency, something we don't usually see in nute-fed plants.
In soil we take a lot of the lesser elements for granted... its built in. Hydro is BYON Bring Your Own Nutes. Haha

I would say growth has slowed on the most affected plants. I just got back from the grow store I've got a new bottle of nutes I will change out of the reservoir after dinner.
Nice! Take a shot for yourself. You don't want a Selinium deficiency

Sounds delicious. Do you go authentic with the Caesar and put in the anchovy? You could probably substitute some drippings from the dab press instead.
Actually, the original Ceasar salad created by Ceasar Cardini in Tijuana Mexico did have any anchovy. A factoid I never thought I would ever get to use, thanks Phantom haha. I can't remember my phone number, but stupid shit like this fill my head.

Hey oldsmokey. Despite the issues, your plants have really grown and look great to me! Sounds like you have some good ideas floating around in this thread so I’m sure you’ll get it sorted. Wish I had something to offer but it’s beyond me so I’m sitting here trying to learn and cheerlead! :cheer:
