Oldschool's Big Ole Auto Grow - Sweet Trainwreck & White Widow XXL

Thanks 64, today Im going to flush and check one. I wonder if the "lime" is the same "lime" us tile guys add to cement to make it sticky? If so its sold in big bags so Im thinking the grow shop for that. My thinking with the hard well water I have that runs from 7.5-8.5 lime is a must? Theyre already planted so cant mix in the soil but will top dress them??
Im flushing the most wrinkled one and checking run off today

Im flushing tomarrow the Gunnia pig when I up pot the sprouts and new clone from D.Heart. I will PH the first of the run off and the last just to see. Im going to buy some lime from the grow shop. Can I top dress the lime, like a 1/4 cup on top of the soil? Or maybe just a light sprinkle, like 2 tbl spoons per 3 gal. plant. Or does it have to be mixed in?
All the plants look recoverd from the leaf weinkle but one. They need to be fed and thats whats next for them when theyre ready. Oh, I read from page 25-30 of your noob thread and what I got was DEFOIL!!! DEFOIL! DEFOLI! DEFOLI! I will be defoiling my roofing brother! Im going to go do some reading on lime. Great Day!!!!!!
 
Yes just sprinkel on top..when u water it will do the rest ok

Some Dolomite lime today 64. The sprouts and the GG clone still need to be up potted. I was lazy and just threw the new GG clone in a solo cup for now. Im planing on up potting the rest tomorrow and can mix some dolomite with the soil with them but will top dress the rest. All looks well except the ones that ran out of nutes. I was reading about flushing and it said to use a mild nute solution and will do. I will check run off! Been reading how important it is. Im going to check the first of it and the last.
64 the Dolomite info is critical and I thank you very much!!!!!!!

Starting to see some flower action on a few now..decided to turn on the reds for them.should be seeing some stretchin now..of course no flower nutes till the stretch is over..just veg nutes..
i love this part of the grow!!

Coming along nicely! Love when the pistils start showing up, especially when you don't know the sex yet ;) but either way it's like "woohoo budlies" :rofl:
 
Mornin 64! I wonder why you dont use FF powder trio too but you must feel not needed. Right now is the open sesame time??
Alright my brother, Ive done two Cal/mag sprays and one Grow big spray and they love it!!! How often for these foliar sprays?? Im thinking Cal/Mag on Sunday and the Grow big on Wed? I sprayed the Cal/Mag good and intended only to mist with the Growbig but they got kinda soaked with that too and loved it!! I swear they grew lots after!!!

you better believe it they grow faster..amazing right..
i spray sometimes everynite..
foiler is ausome for deficancies also..fixes plants quick..

As for the powders...i dont know..i just do fine without it i guess..figure if it aint broke dont fixit..

I never used FF correctly before so last year I figured go all out with their schedule. Since I have the powder I will use it. My yard grow last year was the biggest, healthiest, grow Ive had by far because of all that. I used to use Grow big in the veg and Tiger in bloom not knowing any better. Im getting ready to start the feeding schedule on my tent!! Soon as theyre thirsty a light drench feeding. Im thinking with using the foliar sprays I can mix my nutes a lil weaker for the drench feed, save $$. I mix FF nutes at 4gal. but put 5 gal water. I might go weaker.
Im thinking with my tent to give them less drench fluid. Im unclear on just how much fluid? I need to standerdize this for my 3 gal pots. Theyve been getting 64 fl oz roughly and thinking reduce to 48 oz maybe. I want them to dry out sooner. Also not sure when its time to drench feed the tent should I give them some water first? Like, first 12oz of water then maybe 32oz of nute drench? Last year with my yard grow I waterd a lil before I fed and wonder if its the same theory with indoors???
When I water/feed I use the same carls jr. cup and give them all the same. When I water my yard grow from the hose I count Mississippi's so they all get the same amount.
I want to get this standerdized the best I can. Great Day 64!!!!

I also use fox farms and the three base bottled nutes. I never feed in veg only cal mag and they have been pretty healthy so far. I'm thinking of starting foliar spray since I've heard good things about it. Bt I think this soil is filled with enough nutes to get them thru around 2 months of veg so if u wanna save $ try not to feed a few plants and see if they stay healthy and green!!

Im getting familiar with FF and Ive noticed their schedule is right on with Ocean Forest. Big Bloom the first 2 weeks then Grow big. The O.Forest nutes seems it last 2-3 weeks. Ive also noticed FF liquid nutes get used up by the plant quick. It probably gets salt build up but the nutes get consumed by the plant quick.
I can see a fantastic difference with the few Cal/Mag, Grow Big foliar sprays Ive done. Maybe go to 2-3 times a week for each. I was told you cant give to much foliar feed but wont try to over do it. In fact Im going to start FF schedule at the next tents watering. Ive been mixing for 4 gal but using 5 gal of water. I might reduce it to 3 gal nutes to 5 gal water since im using the foliar sprays. I think I read where no foliar sprays in bloom, if so very important. Great Day 64 and Jgrowlove!!
 
Im thinking 36oz of fluid to a 3 gal pot. Three 12oz cups per plant. I might stay on schedule better. Great Day!

The Sprouts of Fire got some Dolomite and they couldnt look better!!! I might top dress half the rest and see. What Fun!!
Im going to defoil once a week a lil here and there, 4-5 leafs a plant a week. Thanks 64!
