OldMedMans's 3rd Grow AirPots and 6 Strains

Wow!!! OMM you got yourself some beautiful ladies, growing up big and strong. Every one of those ladies look absolutely wonderful, Very nice job. Got a little envy going on here but I will get over it.... Again great job on those ladies....

Thank you sonzor A little envy is OK, my friend. :)
I was just over reading your 3rd journal. I didn't make a post...I already made one there. I still say you did the right thing! Feel good about it, even though it sucked..
Thanks for the visit my friend! :bravo:

Hi OldSkoool :cheer:

Ahhhhhh Wanda.......... She was a good ol gal, but alas, the last traces of her wonderful goodness went up 'n smoke last week.

There was a time when I rather enjoyed wrenching my steel steeds, but yesterday I had a 22MM axle nut kick my ass, and had to resort to asking a neighbor kid for help breaking it loose. I had the tranny replaced last year, they musta had Bongo tighten the axle nuts. Think I'll have a Candygram sent to 'em. Probably isn't the smartest project I could tackle since I screwed up my back, but it'd cost a small fortune if I had it done....and they'd probably do a shitty job.

I humbly submit Wanda's seedling for your viewing pleasure....certainly not up to your own stately meds, but she is coming into her own finally. For a while there I thought she's be headed for the hemp pile. I wish I had photos of the other plant for comparison, huge difference in bud shape. Both share Wanda's sweet, unmistakable stink.

She's 22' high, and about the same in diameter. If not for the LST, I figure she'd be about 3ft tall.

A moment of silence for Wanda :rip:...........................................Ok! on with the living! :smokin:

I know you don't agree........but that still looks like Wanda to me. Narly leaves and all. Did we ever determine what strain she is? Memory is going.
Your girls aways look like a work of art. Your skills at LST are great! There is only one other person I know that can do that, his name is Mountain High.
This version is just as beautiful as the original. I can almost smell her.:bravo:

Thanks for letting us all see her :thumb:

Stop it, your gonna give me a fat head....but thanks to you, and lavender for the kind words.

Naw, we haven't a frigging clue what the hell her (pardon the pun) roots were.

I know I did a lot of wishful WAG's, hoping she was some rare, thought to be lost cannabis strain sought throughout the known universe as the paramount killer med, but in the end she worked, and that's all that counts

Smell her? Hell man, you could be charging real money for a sniff of your backyard ladies, you hold your own OMM Med Smell-a-Thon to raise money for the cause............cause we need meds:)

Yeah, there are a lot of similarities between this plant and Wanda, but at 6 weeks into flower, Wanda looked like this....remember these Christmas Tree fatties?

Speaking of puns, if you like puns, find and old copy of "Callahand's Bar".
Creatures from all over the universe come every Tuesday night for a pun contest. It is hilarious. :)

Before I go any farther, I must say Wanda was beautiful! :cheer:

If and when I ever get the energy, I am going to move the plants so they are not so close together. I walk in a row and get glued to everything. They are sticky and stinky. Even so close together, you can smell the differences. The Columbian Gold just smells good, real good. ;)

Seriously Wanda was a beautiful plant and energetic and she put up with you! For god's sake keep your hands off me! Enough!

omm,
said in the brochure, will send it to you email....so incomming....
that you can use 1-4T/gal....for them....but will let you read it...L
other than that, natural preditors, but how to contain them in area, have
to use fine net drapped over all....or sheer curtain material sewn togather...may be cheaper, if you have a machine....sorry, all i know...L

Sorry no pictures of the 2 Skunk #1s :) I screwed up their pictures.

As you can see most of the big ones are starting to eat themselves. However none of them have over 5% amber trichs, So it will be a while before harvest.
:)

End of update

Hello Everyone :cheer:

In case you have never seen Leaf Miners.....unfortunately I have some pictures for you to see. :smokin::smokin::smokin:

Some one once told me that would not really hurt one's plant, well.......that is wrong! :smokin::smokin:

I have been watering with Asamax and Neem since the beginning of this grow and I wash em down daily with both. These buggers must be strong.
Lavendar, bless her soul, has told me I can safely increase my dosages, so I am going to do so.
I had a few of these last grow and Neem killed them. They must have mutated and come back stronger. Anyway, for any one who hasn't seen them before, here's some pictures so you can see what they do!

Hope you never get em!!!!:smokin:

Leaf Miners for sure. I got a book called Marijuana Garden saver lets see what it suggests----------
Sister plant with lambsquarter, columbine, or velvetleaf. But thats a bigger problem I hope than spraying is. They call for neem, Horticultural Oil, Pyrethrum, and afew good fungi or bacteria as a cure. The adult bugs lay eggs up to 350 aday. 2-6 days till hatch then larva 'tunnel' till pupa stage and fall to the ground to hatch and repeat cycle. Sometimes yo get lucky and wasps will eat the larva. Hey Pops That Church is atad shy of leafage, but I still see those tops growing together in one 'Large' Top. I like the Gold Myself. SHHHHHHHHHH don't tell MissJ Lates

HI wood :)
Well, thanks for looking them up for me. What gets me Neem killed them last year, but doesn't touch em this year. Guess they adapt. I will look into finding one of those you named above.
Yeah, the Church is without much foliage, but sure is packing on the buds.
I think she will be real good smoke. Truthfully, I'm with you the Columbian just looks like killer buds. The moby is really packing it on too.
I wouldn't dare tell Miss J! :):)

We don't have wasp out here! :grinjoint:

Aloha OMM, how are you this fine...night...:smokin:

I just love all your girls...they are really loving everything you are doing...swelling up beautifully...should have some serious harvest weight my farmer friend...;)

I can't decide which I like best...I would have to do extensive sampling...followed by a nap...until I have really made up my mind...and you better hope I wrote it all down so we don't have to start all over.:trance:

I just love all the variety of buds and colors, but that church in her light green leaves and giant buds looks alot like......a cactus. :smokin:

I sure love your updates brother, our medicine sure is amazing to grow, beautiful and complex.

:peace: my good friend and many good vibes for you!

Hi High :) I hope I have a good harvest. Just got off the phone with another person that wants me as care giver. :) It will take him a few months to get his ticket. I haven't seen this kid in a year or two, he was going to college last I heard. Now he has Krons disease, Hope I spelled that right. So the garden may expand a bit more. We will see.:slide:

Well, of course we could sample together. Like you said, it maybe a hard choice so we might have sample at least 2 or 3 times!:cheer:

Church does look like a cactus :rofl: :grinjoint::);)

Aloha My Friend :)

This grow is amazing and has a right vibe to it :)
I'm using air pots myself in my current indoor grow and noticed some serious vigour of flowering since I've repotted my ladies. My pots are much smaller though - 1,6 gallon, and cannot be larger due to the lack of space in my grow room. I'm really satisfied I made that purchase anyway! The only disadvantage is, that I have to water them every 2-3 days basically, however air pruning makes it up!

Hi Woodsman Sorry, your gonna have to get in line to see Miss Columbian. :):):):) She seems to be very popular. :grinjoint:

Thanks for checking in! :bravo:

Unlike the others who want only want to 'use' her body, I have very honorable intentions. I will marry her afterwards! :)

Your back yard looks like the Hawaiian Botanical Gardens! Now I'm jealous! Norcal and you are going to move in and take my Columbian senorita away! :Rasta: I'll never be able to see her again!

Sorry to hear about those leaf miners. Good luck with your battle. Will they affect your grow at this stage?

High OMM, dang, that Columbian is looking... wellllll... Columbian!. Beautiful. We should all be able to grow outdoors.

do marigolds grow out there? A natural pyrethrum... but you could probably get surplus napalm cheaper LOL

You have a good thing going on there, nice job!

:peace:
