This post is for everyone, of course, however it's aimed at all the new members and those of you that are just watching and trying to pickup tips on how to grow our favorite plants.

Here are the indoor vegging girls. They have been in veg under both CFLs and LEDs for over 6 weeks. As a rule of thumb most plants when put in flower will double or triple in size. This is called stretch. In other words if we put a 2 foot plant into flower it will at the least double in size, 90% of the time. When you are planning your grow, having this information is invaluable. You will know in advance what size of a room, tent, or grow box you will need.

While looking at these pictures, notice how many bud sites there are. This is no accident. I used a low stress training method to increase the number of bud sites. Think of it this way, the more bud sights the more buds and the larger your over all yield. That's what we all want, big yields.

I used the FIM method. I don't actually do the FIM method as shown. Where it shows the FIM location, I truthfully use my thumb and finger and only pinch/cut just the main stem, leaving all the other growth alone.
My friend THsea has made a film of me doing this. Hopefully he will post it for us or I can make another film of it.

You will notice other cuts that will increase yield too. Topping is a good method too, however, just remember topping is a high stress method of training and takes longer for your plant to recover. FIMing is low stress and your plants recover faster. :peace:
 
As you know I have a couple of unknown plants outside. I put them in flower to see their sex. One is a lady, which I am happy about. I wasn't sure, so I planted 4 more. Here they are:

Well, I really don't like killing perfectly good plants, so I think I will go ahead and see what gender they are. This grow maybe getting even larger.

A better place for this would probably be the over 50 club, so I'll spare you all the gory details. But, went to the Dr. yesterday for my achy knee and ended up getting a cortisone injection in it. Not ready for new parts quite yet. So, warmer climates are talking to me, if you know what I mean.
 
I got this from watching tv last night. Technically very few of us are actually breaking the law because the definition of Marijuana does not say anything about Indica. Being an upstanding citizen I only grow Indica!

If memory serves, I think technically, all cannabis...Sativa, Indica, or Ruderalis is considered Cannabis Sativa. Scientifically speaking, an Indica is considered: Cannabis Sativa L. (var Indica).

I may not have very many posts, but I've been lurking around this forum for quite a while, and have always seen you as the "glue" of the 420 community. You are definitely an inspiration to me. It won't be the same without you around...hopefully you'll pop back in from time to time.

The plants are looking very lovely btw. Great strain selections, that unmentionable strain interests me. China Yunnan! :drool: Such a lovely Indica, oh the memories. Can't wait to see all of these beauties showing off their goods. Well, I'm strapped in for the flight buddy! Now lets see how high we can get. :bong: :biglaugh:

To answer your question......I hopefully will still be around 420.......just no journaling for a long while. In fact this will probably be my last journal ever. Just a bit hard for me to keep up anymore. Someone needs to find a "Fountain of Youth Strain!". Love ya girl!:ganjamon:
