OldMedMan Goes Indoors Part 2

Yah OMM, took your word of advise for the better, no more waking up extremely early and diluting. I do plan on continuing growing and saving them in a vacuum sealed glass mason jar.....How long do you think i could store for, if it is properly cured and wont get mold with vacuum seal..still feeling pretty crappy right now tho, but yes after this grow i definitely am gonna save some this time.:Namaste:

Glad the works back. My Holidays were very good this year. Cept a bit of a freak out when I stopped my meds for a while! Wont do that again! :circle-of-love:

There is a section on long term storage in the How to Grow section. If I remember right freezing may be the best for long term. Let's face it, I 'm not going to be able to grow forever.....though I will try! Got to find a way to store long term too. If I find a good answer I'll let you know! Always save some somewhere! :Namaste:

I've several lbs. in the freezer at this point. When I pinch a nug from one of the jars, it's just as good as the day it went in....sometimes that is 3 years or more ago. I am gonna make hash from a couple of them, just to make room (also an excellent long-term storage solution). Frozen hashish will last your lifetime. Just remember to finish the cure BEFORE freezing. Frost will end the cure process. My stuff cures like 9 months or so, before it goes in the chill.
Things like Master Kush seem to double in potency, after a few weeks in the jar...freeze it too soon....you'll ruin it

Vacuum mason jars in a cool dark place will store quite nicely for many years. You can also long term in glass jars, displace the air w/ CO2 (from your tank) and seal it up. Once a month you dig into that stash jar for the daily consumption jar and regas the big storage jar till next month.

That's another option I will keep in mind. In my place, just finding a "cool" place will be the hard part. :Love:
I may have misunderstood, but no CO2 in mason jars? That sounds even better.....no co2. It will be a while before I do it anyway......have to grow em first! :circle-of-love:
 
So as long as they are cured properly, and water has been expelled from within out, i have a vacuum attachment for the mason jars, in a cool dark place i can store for years?????? I was scared with the freezer method, but i guess if you religiously cure buds (let them expire water open and dry out a bit, etc. etc.) then you should not run into a problem of frost bite correct CHOPPER?????

Thanks for Info OG13 and Chopper, i am quitting (or basically taking long breaks in between burning due to job) but still wanna grow and save up for big rainy days.:Namaste:

Hi All! :circle-of-love:

I am very happy I went back on my Anti-Depression Meds, other wise I might pull a bit of hair out.

As you know I keep talking about the last month of a grow and what could go wrong. Well it's here! :smokin2::smokin2:

The Emerald Jack yielded 16 grams dry. That big axx plant gave me 16 grams! Oh! Noes! Well, there was a good part...we test smoked her and what there is of her is really good smoke. :thumb:

We also tested the Moby Dick and she is dynamite! :circle-of-love:

Guess what I am saying is this harvest will not be as large as THsea and I expected. Actually, that's OK. We will have enough to see us through until next grow comes in. If the other girls are anywhere near the Moby we will be very happy. :circle-of-love:

This is not a downer post at all........I think we will get our money's worth with this grow.:allgood::surf:
 
Feeling good and you got some decent smoke!! Great Job!!

I miss my Mekong High plant. Looks like yours is comming along very nicely! My Mekong gave me a few seeds and none of them popped for germination. Oh Well....:circle-of-love:

We gave her some more light today and had to tie her branches up because she might break under the her own weight! Speaking of seeds. I just ordered 2 more of her! She will be in my next grow too. :bravo: Thanks again for telling me about her! :adore::adore: Bummer on no luck with her progeny. :smokin2:

Hi Queen.

I'm still thinking about that....too big of a pot?.........not enough light?

The Stress of a mad move inside away from the thieves....

I'm going to look at the roots and see what went on in there.

I also don't think I created a good environment for them. Which was getting better this month. Going indoors was a surprise. We have been improving things as we go. Should be dialed in for the next one. Truthfully, I would be very happy to harvest enough to carry me to the end of my next grow! :Namaste:
