OldMedMan Goes Indoors Part 2

Check out "Big A" pa-pa......Reserva Privada has created OG seeds too. OG and OG #18. Eighteen is the Sour one. A little pricey compared to ETs OG, but their stuff is pimped pretty hard. Maybe it is that good? I got a half dozen of each ordered (15mins ago) LIMITED OFFER
Talked to Jodi (earlier today) and she said they are going really fast...(now I'm pimping for 'em :) ) Can't go wrong with the OG.....I like the ET Lost Coast OG a lot. Got a few on deck for the midwinter season....to keep the SSOG company. I need a fourth season to get to all these strains

Hey Chopper. They are a good seed company, so they may be top notch. Not ordering any seeds for a while....going to plant what I have for a while........that will be a pretty long while.
Guess I'll live vicariously through you. :bravo:
A 4th season would be just right for you!:thanks:

Great Closet Farmer !:high-five:

I slipped a bit today and had 12 cigs. :smokin2:

I gave all my Blueberry away...I should have waited..that sounds perfect.
It will let you hold it and smoke it, but get nothing!:bravo: :thumb:

Come On Med Man!!! Don't beat yourself up. 12 cigarettes is alot better than 3 packs a day. You are so close to no cigarettes. It is hard the first day but it does get easier. I am rooting for you!!! :cheertwo:

Pop's the veg looks great. Best to ya this year I will be holding my breath for ya.
Alaskan huh? People tend to forget that Thunderfuck is mainly a inside grow and can be grown just about anywhere inside. Alaska's average temp on the year is like 28 degrees. For like 2 short months temp's get up to the 60's. Not much a growing period. I have a friend up there who has been growing afew years, but he's doing inside and all he grows is M T F. Sad thing is all he runs are clones. I have begged him in the past for any seed stock he gets but he never seems to find any.
Pop's those babies look great. Keepem Green and take are of yourself out there. Never know one of these days I might sneak over and knock on your door. Keepem Green

Hey Honey!! I swear I don't stand a chance on catching up with yer journal - cuz it grows so damn fast!!!! I did go back a number of pages and catch some girls in veg and they look wonderful! :bravo:

Things are better here, still hectic, but better. Had to harvest my outside girls a bit early (no choice). Got around 3 pounds total, but a lot of smaller buds and... Daggone worms - little white changing to red/orange worms. They look like maggots in size and shape. Too late to do anything about them now. I tried to cut them out as best I could as I trimmed, but know there are some curing in the jars now. The smoke is sure good tho and I got a variety again. The few auto-flowering plants got pollinated thru-out the buds, but the majority were non-autos and they just got seeded in their pre-flowers (not in the buds themselves).

So... lessons learned? Yes - outside leaves me very little control of pests, critters, weather, light, and much more... but it sure does grow some huge plants!

Other lessons... Earlier, in your (LAST) journal, I mentioned trying Colloidal Silver to make feminized seeds. I am pretty happy to say that this process just isn't that hard!!! I stopped in yesterday and wrote the basics (and my experience with an auto-flowering strain) in this link: How to Use Colloidal Silver to Produce Feminized Seeds

Since the cost of seeds are so expensive (and the seed growers have to use some method of producing seeds), I thought this would sure be worth trying. IT WORKED - AND ON AN AUTO STRAIN!!! If anyone wishes to review the procedure, visit the link!

I am so sorry to read yer body is givin' ya grief, OMM. It seems a number of us have this problem. They took away my pill of youth due to the TIA's they gave me and now my body aches like a son of a bitch!!!! Took a weekend trip with hubby and had so much pain in my arms (fingers, wrists, shoulders - everywhere!) that I couldn't hardly stand it. It's a little difficult to accelerate on the throttle when I can't even feel my fingers... then when I begin to feel them I wish I couldn't!!! Hubby was a sweetheart tho, we just made more frequent stops so my arms and hands could recover enough to ride on... pretty scenery, so the stops were wonderful. First weekend we have taken away in over a year - and hope it will be more often!!! Do need hubby to get another dresser tho so I can ride with him when we are traveling long distances.

Hmmm... I am wondering where someone goes for a vacation when they live where many go to vacation??? HAWAII!!! ??? Where do you and Jo go??? Out the front door one day, out the back door the next?? LOL!

Enough outta me... will stop back in to check out your latest girls progress!!!

:circle-of-love:LUVIES OMM & ALL!!!:circle-of-love:

Hey Dad- You're doing a Great at quiting the smoking. I am trying to slowly quit too! I usually smoke about a pack in 24 hours, but I have only been smoking less then HALF a pack this past week and a half! My problem, is that when I finish medicating, I always want to have a cigarette after. But I am really trying to have self control with that. I keep telling myself, just because I just smoked a bowl, doesn't mean I need to smoke a cigarette! *smh* I love you and support you! Im always here, if you ever need me!! ❤️

Hey BAS! Every time I would smoke weed. I would always want to smoke a cigarette too!! I don't know why but that is a trigger point for me too! I think weed is more powerful without the nicotine in your body. I seem to get alot higher now that I quit the cigarettes! Sorry to butt in. Hope you don't mind. :peace:

3 Pounds !!! is a damn good harvest! Sorry you had all the bug problems. Your place seems to have em all, dog gone it!

Glad you had good luck with your Colloidal Silver seeds. Thanks for posting your how to on 420......I think it will help many folks. :thumb:

Yep, Girl, seems like we can't run away from old age. I'm so sorry your in so much pain. Glad your old man loves you so much and does what he can for you. Jo and I just help each other all the time. I have a new problem with my lungs....the right side of my ribs are killing me. No marks or bruises....just a bunch of pain...that I can see any reason for. I'll see the Doctor next week about it.
Jo and I don't go anywhere now. We walk out front, look around and say "Yep, Still Pretty" and go back inside.:high-five:
I hope you find something for that pain. Sounds really bad.

Love ya Girl! :Love::Love:

Good for you on cutting back on your smoking. It's tough to do....but so worth it. I do the same thing, smoke a bowl and then want a cig. I keep my cigs across the room. If I want one I have to go get it. That works because I'm so lazy. Thanks BAS, I know I have your kind support! Take care Girl.:Namaste:

Hi All .:high-five:

I have an old doper friend visiting me this week, so will be here and there some days. Don't think it will be much there, mostly here. Have a new med problem too. My ribs on the right side, have decided to hurt like hell. No bruises... or anything. Going to see the Dr. about it next week. Hurts every time I move.
I just love old age. I feel like an old horse that needs to shot!

Not to worry...This two shall pass! :thumb:

The Story Continues……………………………………………………..Traveling again

Tony made a decision. She had decided to be ready if she decided to come to the States with me when its time for me to go. There are other places we could have gone to update her passport, but the real embassy in Rome was the best. This tickled me to no end. She may come with me to the US.
We packed our bags and jumped on the train. The ride to Rome was just beautiful. We just went trough so many small villages and some beautiful small cities. This time we had a sleeping booth. .We loved it , A couple of times when we stopped for a few minutes, I jumped off and bought her flowers or a sweet.

Tony actually dislikes southern Italy. Too much crime and over crowding. Besides that, the train station had been bombed a couple times in Rome.

Since we were going to be in the south anyway, we were going to meet and have dinner with her relatives in Foggia..

I had always wanted to see Rome. I've read so much of her history and her power.

To Be Continued…………………………………………..

I love Italy.....Northern Italians consider their southern brethren to be pigs.(and I don't disagree...pig is a bit strong, but nothing is felt "gently" in Italy) Back in the seventies it was not unusual to see the local ruins used as a trash dump. Greece seemed to have the same attitude about antiquities in some areas.
I think things have changed a bit, since some have become 100% dependent on tourist money.
:)
***Biloxi is one depressed place. Seems that hurricane really gutted this place. Physically most scars are gone. The scars you can't see are the ones that won't heal here. These folks are struggling!
Peace y'all

Hey There Med Man! Sending possitive vibes your way.... Getting old is a BITCH!! With you smoking less your body could be fighting back. Who knows...

Rome Italy. I have relatives there. Looking forward to hear what happens!!!!:partyboy:

12 cigs today?!

Holy carp OMM, that is such a huge reduction... Crazy! Good job buddy!

Hope you enjoy your guest! You know I'm enjoying my little guest to the islands! :)
Only six more days with her... Loving every one of them! Going to the beach tomorrow. If the weather is nicer that is ;)

Feel better, I will probably be MIA til the end of next week..

Love the foreshadowing in the story OMM. It gives just enough hints to be able to make assumptions and predictions and look forward to the next chapter. Keeping positive vibes sent your way, I'll steal some from my son to send your way he has way too much can't wait till he is one.:Namaste:

Hey there OMM
I love visitors too! Thanks for stopping by, I really appreciate it and I know it is tough for you these days. I am very proud of you to have cut back so far so soon, but keep it up!

Sounds like a strain rib cage, but hopefully nothing else. If it is then there is not much you can do about it and it will take care of itself in a couple weeks. I hope that is all it is.

old age.... with out that we wouldn't have your stories...

Have a great weekend and enjoy!

How are the outdoor ladies coming? I know they are still inside, but they should be growing pretty good now and hitting that true veg stage.

:peace:

Hey Chopper That is the exact words Tony used "Pigs". This was in the late seventies, Buddy.
I saw the mess in Rome in some spots...trash. I had heard so much about Rome, I did and didn't want to go there. Obviously we made it. I couldn't believe the beauty in some places and the ruin in others.

Biloxi ......I had forgotten they they been hit so hard. Sometimes over here, the mainland seems very distant. I feel bad now, that I've forgotten their tragedy.

When I was traveling as a salesman, I always had good luck with sales there. I also had another kind of luck. Twice I had a lady come up and say to me "You want to be mine tonight?"......Hell Yes! Yep..loved it there.

Thanks Buddy I'll be glad to take those good vibes from you.:high-five: It would suck to quit smoking and die from it.:circle-of-love:

If you can ever do it, go see your relatives there.....it's very much worth it. :thumb:
