Ohioboy With Fast Buds: Let's See How Fast Exactly

It depends on your plant. I let leafs go crispy before I pull them. About one week each stage. Over flowering is known as mold. Not PM, but bud rot. I use a dehumidifier in my tent at 35% RH to keep mold out. But yes, you can rot buds on your plant. It's a balance but most all plants will not have issues at 80 day flowering times, but 70 something is good place to stop for non sativa.

Cheers

Ok yeah my rh is 35-50 because I've lost crops to botrytis I keep a close eye on that. Thanks for all the help brother

I've just been researching different grow methods hydro soil etc and then all the branch offs in each of those airponics or coco as I'm getting ready to harvest my last indoor girl so my closet is ready for two more beauties. The more I read the more grandiose my grow became in my head. Then I slept on it and came to the conclusion that keeping it simple is the best option for me right now. I'll make and grow in an airponics system one day but not until I don't need to experiment anymore with training styles or genetics and can focus on the grow....did that make sense? Anywho I'm also very concerned with this bubblegum in that she has very little smell to her I mean very little other than that cut grass smell. But when u bust a flower...WOW IS IT PUNGENT. I've never had a plant be so discrete. Seriously it's not even stinking up the closet. I hope the jars will fix this

Ok borrowed a camera again I'm flushing now I'm doing a 10 day flush every other day super watering like 2-3 gallons of plain water (and remember I was organic until flower and then only used one supplement "bloom buster" by Jacks) today is day 8 then 24 hrs of dark I top of her normal 12 so 36hrs of dark really and that's to decrease chlorophyll in the flowers and help with taste. Then the chop

today is day 80 of flower. Well that's what I got I'll check in again for weigh in and final pics I hope all are well and want to mention that if not for this forum and all the help I wouldn't be about to harvest this beauty she would have more than likely died or maybe not died but not be giving me what she is that's for sure so thank you to all

Not bad at all and I agree, keep it simple and work on environmental issues. You'll do better every grow. Learning a new system is always a learning curve.

Yeah totally agree I've learned my light adds about 10 degrees maybe 8 lol I've learned not to try organic inside unless your in a barn. Learned that my soil mix is to dense and not allowing enough oxygen for optimal root growth. I can't grow outside in summer only winter(flower at least ) I've learned that miracle grow isn't much of a miracle and for not much more cash I can get WAY better. I've learned about rh and its effects on mj. Some patience for sure, I've learned that auto is what I wanna try next and that tap water sucks compared to rain or even distilled. I've learned that strangers are willing to help me if I ask and am sincere and that people will listen when I have suggestions. It's been great!! I'm in lights out now brother unplugged last night after lights out so tomorrow I trim. I'll post pics and a wet weigh in and then my final will be dry weigh in pics and jars. Thanks Miller for everything and I'll be back I've a afghan lime that's outside and is in full flower that I'm gonna bring in Monday its Ganny my hermy that's on its third flower and this time all female!!!!!

so 96 grams wet and trimmed I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a bag after its dried and I'll be overly enjoyed. But happy with whatever. The buds are the most dense flowers I've ever grown I mean there like a flippin bouncy ball if I threw it on the ground lol I'm happy just that she made it through. Now my Ganny is in full flower and will be in the closet this week

Ok so final weigh in
420-magazine-mobile972794930.jpg
35.6 grams dry I'm so flippin happy I got two months maybe more of smoke almost 2 lbs of cannabutter that will last all year. Now I bring in my afghan to flower so by time I harvest here I'll be ready for more smoke I've got less than $250 in this grow but that's including exhaust fans lights etc which I will be using all for my next grow so a minimal investment for almost $700 (in my area at least) that I can save and I don't have to feel like a criminal on the streets buying my meds. It's a good day
420-magazine-mobile1572131179.jpg
ok so in the bottom of my jar look what I found
420-magazine-mobile356765261.jpg
how in the hell is this possible no other seeds anywhere? One seed? Anywho thanks again all for your help good growing

Congrats on your harvest Ohio. Growing your own medicine is awesome right? The cure is just as important as the grow. Don't let all that hard work go to waste. As for the seed, I have no idea except to guess you had a bit of the herm but it reversed? Who knows? The good news is you have over an ounce of bud to smoke now!

Cheers bud

:roorrip:

I really like the way you summarize your grow for the year, good stuff, i wish i could think like that. I am so scatter brained anymore.

I really want to know more about the afghan lime, what is it like.

Good show. Nice harvest. :thumb:

The afghan lime is in week two of flower she's still outside I'm late I know but not to late I'm gonna bring her inside to 12/12 this weekend I've just been so busy working. Thanks for all the kind words.

Yeah about that I'm in jars opening once a day this is day 3 I think still with the fresh cut grass smell until you bust a bud open and then it's an overwhelming mj smell very earthy not really sweet but not musky either very full bodied and a smooth smoke for as early in the cure and this is the bubblegum I'm talking about thanks for checking me out. More to come afghan lime still to harvest

Ok so I'm dropping my phone off today to fix my camera I'm also transplanting my hermy Ganny who is no longer a hermy after two flower cycles she's all girl for her third (third times a charm) so I'm gonna dig her up and bring her inside to finish flowering her she's in full flower now prolly 2 weeks maybe 3 also my "pretenda flux" that I'm working on is a female (YES) and is doing better than I'd expected once my camera is fixed I'll be able to show you. I've gotten something of a new friendship with "Deep roots sciences" there a organic fertilizer company that Smith Greenhouse supply inc outta mendota il carries and distributes. They have some very interesting stuff and there very fair money wise any way there helping me out to stay inside and organic in a way that won't smell the house we will see I'm getting my soul ready now cricket frass, worm castings , bat guano, rock dust vermiculite peri lite peat moss compost and some soil I'm going rich and airy. I've made a kinda hydro earth bucket with a few air stones couple buckets lots a holes and a pump pics to come I'm gonna see now how well organically I can flower this girl versus the chemical flower both veg states were organic so I've got a pretty good level field to experiment in. Ok so keep an eye out for me. I'm excited about this one y'all !!!!!

That's quite the auto line up. Sounds like it's going to be a fun and exciting winter season.

The outdoor plants look pretty good, the one seems to be deficient in K, but it's just a little. Get her some kelp meal to combat that. Keep up the fine work ohioboy...

KiG :green_heart:cheers
