Ok I got a ? Is it possible for me to take a feminised auto seed and make it turn hermaphrodite let it flower seed only take the flowers and then let it live and then the plant reveg and while it's in reveg turn back to female and flower again around 100 days later with ONLY female flowers? Because I think I did just that

I just had my first true hermie just the other way around... It started throwing beautiful pistols then I went in there a couple of days ago and she was most certainly identifying as a boy... I was so freaked out by it I had to post it up to make sure I wasn't seeing things... What a waste of a really nice growing plant......

Oh no not a waste!!!! Harvest pollen practice cloning make cannabutter (male foliage has more thc than female) or practice different training styles but for sure not a waste.

Ok so day 43 of flower and my stalks/stems have this red color only on the stretch to the colas and are very flimsy all ready several are buckling under the weight of there flowers and I'm not even halfway through my flowering? Since I'm inside organic is out its to smelly for my linen bathroom closet so I'm juicing lol. I bought some local instead of online I'm not set to use it for 6-7 more days so if anyone sees me getting ready to kill my girls please lemme know lol (not really)

i had to turn my light off real fast to get that color and it's on most of my stretches and there all flimsy? So I support them duh but I wanna know why the color and lack of firmness canopy and flower production seem to be on schedule

on the other hand Kera here is stout as heck and uniformed color only issue I have with her is he seems to be getting woody maybe more so than I'm used to seeing but she's gonna have some big stupid flowers lol look

Ok so all my outside beauties let's start with Katy she popped 3-22-16 she's just over 4 1/2 feet tall

she is really doing well I transplanted her from a 2 up to a 5 and she's loving it I should have taken a pic of the roots wow. Next are two clones I took off Katy 2 days ago I'm useing clear plastic water bottles I cut the top off so I can see root development to a point and precise watering needs

ya know I research a ton and some say strip the clone of all but the top sugar leaves others say strip just the bottom half and then cut the fan leaves in half so I did two clones two different ways

moving on. Ganny my hermy I germinated two of its seeds one grew other didn't and I've been "playing" with it experimentally like I topped it at its first node then again at its third yesterday I planted it in the garden and am doing some more experimenting

its kinda a flux kinda I need to trim it still but I'm definitely going lateral with it

moving on to Ganny my hermy or ex hermy lol

see what I mean no more male traits. Weird right? Here's my boy

every time I see seeds I pick em off every day I'm out there picking at him lol I just wanna see what he does

Hey O !

I know Jacks has a pretty good reputation. So I think you are OK there.

The red on the stalk or stem is sometimes genetic and/or sometimes from low magnesium. I see magnesium in the Jacks ferts.
Honestly I dont have enough experience to say if it is enough Mag in the ferts, but it sure as shik should help.( fort what it is, I use epsom salts as a mag boost in my soil mix, but it is all good)
Not sure how weak your stems are, But, I have heard to use silica/silicon for strength in the stems, not sure, I have not really had a problem with weak stems. I got some silica powder here somewhere, I am not sure if it has helped, i use so little of it. My buds probably are not big enough.

Any who What I wanted to say is, seeing that Jack's classic brought back good memories. Back in the 80s when I did guerilla growin.
I used Peters professional 20-20-20 for the first half of the season and miracle grow 15-30-15 for the second half. And it worked good.
We would start at 2 -3 weeks half strength then hit it with full strength mixture, then the same for the mid summer switch to 15-30-15 half strength at first then BooM full strength.
We really had no clue what we were doing. I prolly still don't.

My morning has been crap just to lay the back drop and then my favorite part of my day after that first cup of coffee hit the bathroom and sit and look at my girls as there closets in the bathroom it's way better than a book or newspaper lol but look what happened over night to Kera

its only that one (main) branch (so far) but what would make that happen? They've been inside for two weeks

moisture meter for the soil says I got days left the rest of her looks good

i had to tie up North she can't hold up her flowers

any help? PLEASE

nothing has changed? just the new nutes? when leaves curl under its one sign toxicity did you water all the plants with jack's last year too? Are you adjusting the ph or just mixing and watering? cant see colours as your lights just show pink. better photo i can look in my books.

I haven't even fed them the new nutes yet tomorrow I am it's dead bro or dieing on the plant u wanna see pics of the plant or the dead

Dep u see in the purple pic bf I cut it off the plant the sugar leaves curled up n got brittle the fan leaves drooped and almost clawed but did NOT get brittle

yeah nothing really stands out i see mg and n def (chlorosis) but buds dieing off at tops the only thing that returned is sulfur def, was the stem woody ? one book suggests it would be . hard to tell as you are in flower when would you expect kara to finish? It is a deficiency so feed if you can and forgo your dry side of watering cycle you need to get a complete soluble hydro nute such as maxi bloom as jacks looks incomplete from the analysis label . jmho

Ok yes it woody as hell so that's it then ok but jacks is what I got car broke today and the want more than I've got so no cash can go out for nutes

I've got miracle grow 24/8/16 (that's what I've been doing last few feeds at like half strength) I've got better gro 20-14-13 and that jacks 10-30-20 I value your ho so in that case with what I have and what my plants need what would you do I also have Epsom salts

Dude, I have no idea.. What's the diagnosis? Seems like you need micro nutrients though. What's in the miracle grow, anything other than NPK? Have you tried any molasses, Epsom salts, worm castings, bat guano... For organics? People make banana peel tea for potassium. Frankly I'm at a loss, not sure what will help at this point... Sorry ohioboy.
