We had to venture out yesterday. I picked up some mint, and cilantro leaves at the store. I also picked up a Aloe and a mint plant.

Put leaves and water in jars when we got home.

Do you dilute when spraying?
How long will it keep in fridge?

Did you make the leaves into a slurry?
Over night is all it takes... 16 hours give or take.

This is my current recipe, and method down to a T:

1 cup Mint Leaves
1 cup Cilantro
1 TBSP ground up Rosemary

Blend with just enough distilled water to make a slurry.

Add 2 cups of distilled water to slurry, cover, and let sit overnight.

Strain, and squeeze out all the liquid.

Dillute into 1/2 gal of distilled water.

Add 1 TBSP of Aloe gel (I squeeze it fresh right out of a leaf)

Add 1 TSP of Bronners Pepermint soap (acts as an emulsifier, and a surfactant)

Mix well, and spray away.

I've never tried to keep the mix, I use the whole 1/2 gal in one go. I'm not sure that it would keep very well, but again, I've never tried.

I haven't really tried soaking the slurry for any longer than 16 or so hours, it will be nice to see someone else's results. My girls definitely perk up after each spray.

Mine appeared to have no dis-like for it. Another tool added to toolbox. There is so much natural stuff out there to try and see the effect for this and that.

I plan to continue experimenting with the recipe. I'd like to develope it into a powder form, for long term storage and ease of use.

Also, I would use home grown herbs, as opposed to store bought, as the store bought products will have all the benifitial microbes washed off of he exterior of the herbs. As well as, harvesting the herbs just before sunrise (I like to keep it within 30 minutes of lights on). This helps ensure an appropriate moisture level in the herbs, and the essential oils will be at their highest levels before the light dries them up

A little sneak peak at the next couple of strains I'm working with. These girls will be flowered in a separate room, since this is the first round with them, and I have 2 phenos of the same strain. I will pick which of the two I'll keep after I see how they do. Possibly going to make seeds on a branch or two of each as well, which will definitely be done in a separate room!

I try to utilize my space as efficiently as physically possible BigBearNTexas. The least efficient part I suppose, would be trimming as high up as I do... the ceilings in my rooms sit just under 7ft. So, take away the 15 inches for the 5 gal bucket, and 6 inches for hanging the lights (directly on the ceiling)... that leaves me with right around 4ft of grow-able space, not taking into account that the plants need to stay around 16 inches away from the lights themselves, leaving me with 2.5ft... keeping them short enough under the HID's is a must. The S.A. and O.G.G.T.H. are pushing the limits right now under the 1000s, which run on super lumen, roughly 1250w I believe.

Today is day 41 since flip... I think my last post that said day 36 was off by a few days lol. They are starting to fill out nicely now though.

Well... We've had our first issue with the hybrid system... The riots have filled up the rezivours in the bases of the buckets and have started pushing the pipes and uniseals out of the buckets... I'm sitting here racking my brain for an easy solution for these last couple of weeks!

On the brights side... Its not a terrible problem to have... Lol
