I'm going to feed tonight. It's 24 hours over due again. This will be Jock Horror's last feeding of her life. She will get a flush or two in the coming weeks then chop. I haven't seen much change in her over the last few days. Its time to let her ripen up and let the THC glands mature a bit more.
The smell from the cab is beginning to overpower my carbon filter a little. With the doors open the awesome fragrance fills the area. I love it. The wife isn't too fond of it.
Nirvana's Jock Horror still smells phenomenal. Base notes of spicy Cannabis mixed with a strong grapefruit citrus scent. I'm eager to cure and vape this one.
I'm trying to find a strain that helps relieve anxiety while not inducing couchlock. Jock, at this early stage, already produces a nice 4+ hour effect for me. It's a fairly balanced effect with a little more body effect than I would expect at this early point in her bud maturity. Knowing this I will probably chop her just a bit early (compared to the breeder suggested 8 weeks) to try and preserve the THCA ratio.
BC Bud's Jack Herer is still cruising along. This Jack still smells like rotisserie chicken to me. Skunky and spicy. Not much citrus or sweet in her. Her bud development looks more Sativa like to me. Balls on a stick rather than the larger Indica nugs I've grown.
A sample of Jack right now produces a 2+ hour headband buzz that tingles above the ears. The effect doesn't quite drop down to chest level yet. This tells me she's still immature. She will most likely get another feeding or two before flush.
One additional thing I've noticed about this Jack plant is her sugar leaves are thicker and more waxy feeling than any other plant I've grown. I'm not sure if it's good or bad. Simply an observation.
I'll try to check in later tonight.
