NuttyProfessor And His Herd Of Indigenous Microorganisms

Locked and loaded , one big cheese i put in from the lettuce tray , massive pot , all well amended this time , no turning back, this mix also has vermiculite and composited wood bark added, two ingredients i never used before ,
I love the feel of the mix , it feels much better and i think my roots will grow more in this

some of the last big cheese buds too :ganjamon: , the smoke is bloody great , i really like it but i think the next one is smelling better and has had a bit more nutrients

I have ordered some more dry amendments ill blitz to a powder for flower as a top dress

Highya NP,

i am not putting enough in my soils now thinking the ferments would cover there needs
I came to the same conclusion. I figure the microbe solution is speeding up delivery of nutrients to the roots. As a result, nutrients are used up quicker. So I added some organic nutrients to keep everything going. Just did that today, so I'll see if that works. Happy Smokin'

@Bode yeah their need not there lol .. Yes i think the medium needs extra amendments , i give the mix pellet forms of ingredients but i also blended half to a dust , chicken manure , alfalfa , green sand , lime , bone meal , fish blood and bone , coffee grounds , seaweed , etc etc , also have worm cast compost in this time and horse manure ,well aged organic certified
I hope i do not spoil them too much and burn the leaves off

I absolutely starved my last grow in the belief that I had a full soil!
Yeah.. na! o_O
Good learning experience.
Love your work Nutty!
:green_heart:
I can believe that as i also think the same , if not the ph

I think things got bad when i give some sugar ferments didn't check ph and when i did it was hovering around 3.2 its like salt , you can add but not take away . when i noticed the yellowing from the top , the purple and the clawing it told me lock out , i am still thinking it was lock out for a few days , Sunday ill know better , now with the flush she might be hungry lol

she will be due another watering by Sunday ,

some amendments now for top dressing and amending soil before planting , used a hand blender save cooking again , just waiting on another couple of ingredients then its complete ,
I cant get hold of many ingredients but i worked it out it cost about £1.60 to make 2 kilo of top dress and enough to last a year doing 2 or 3 plants , its got to be better than added little to nothing lol

Hello friends happy Saturday hope you all have a nice weekend

The plant is still yellowing , so ive tried feeding while drying , as the pot is drying from the top and sides inwards ive tried to add some liquid organic feed to get some nutrients into her , taking chances now of keeping roots wet too long , not damp, but wet/soaked  This is a lesson as now to get a better soil structure

I Also i have a new microbe solution to add to see if i can recharge the medium , disappointed with myself for this plant, she would have been a beauty

It's a challenge to grow a plant that size in the container she's in. I'm working to improve my tent grows "running out of fuel" too.

Hi mate.

We've all done it, so don't worry. Out of all your plants I've seen, I've rarely seen a sickly one at all. You have always grown healthy plants. So one out of many millions (slight exaggeration) of plants, is brilliant. :thumb:all mine turn out like that :laugh:She's still a beast though. Bigger than anything I could grow...
Anyway,, you will fix it mate.

We're rooting for you, Nutty. How about some foliars while you wait for the soil to dry? Not easy to do with so much flower, but maybe if you’re careful...
Yes i give her some kelp foliar a few days back .light though because of buds . looks better in the pics lol

thanks mate , she could end up being used for oil :)
I was just dumping in teas without checking and i think i killed off the microbes and dropped the ph of my soil to dangerous levels as i cant get her dry ,
Its d day today going to put her in another pot let the soil come apart a little to get air to the roots , im starting this course tomorrow so my attention was getting ready and took my eyes off the ball , the root ball

guys i just realized it only 5 uk gallon ,:rofl: i could have sworn i ordered 7 gallon when i bought

This sure seems to be a common problem this year. Hell blame it on covid. After a five day hiatus to the Northumberland Strait I come home to a sad looking and very yellow plant. She has been happily growing along, with dozens of house plants, out in the little green house, all summer. It's when she started to flower that the problem began. I think by this time she has also depleted the soil in a three gallon pot. Yea,yea, I know way to small, but in my defense this is my most successful grow in dirt so far.:yahoo: Five started out this spring, one went auto and budded out at one month, three just up and died and then this girl. So I cleaned her up and put her inside under some controlled conditions. She has been on Super Thrive up until now but not enough, apparently. I gave her a good flush and hit her with three grams of M.C. with a few drops of Cal/mag. A few days in and she is starting to look a bit better. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Good luck : @bluenoserjoe thought i was the only one having some bad luck

, i just checked and the dip stick sent me 5 gallons that last grow not 7 gallon that i ordered , i did not want too big or too small , so i tried 5 went up to 10 thought 10 was too big so ordered 7s and he sent 5s lol
I never even though as i was trying to stay away from my gr

Now i have the right excuse  no i am a silly should have seen it was 5 gallon , head up my ass maybe that day , before i was all nicely enlightened :Namaste:
