NuttyProfessor And His Herd Of Indigenous Microorganisms

Any one for maggots lol , se this is why fish and crabs are harder to do and harder to avoid stink @Azimuth
I wont be using on my MJ plants this is for the non MJ this ferment
This is the ferment that would get me in trouble. Last summer my neighbor had a feed of mussels. He dumped the shells in the compost bin out side his house. Very hot weather and within a couple days the smell was so bad all neighbors got together and made him take the bin away to be emptied and washed. gotta keep the neighbors happy.

The garden is looking great Professor. The ferment is doing wonders. Sorry to hear about the GG. Some day all growers around the world will have some freedom from ancient and archaic laws. Happy B'day to your daughter, they are the best at that young age. And stupid o'clock is when I have been getting up for many years. lol Enjoy this special day. :ganjamon:

Vegging is the easy part , its getting them finished is the important part in my books , This is where the medium can go tits up , speaking of medium I made a really cool soil-less mix yesterday that i am putting to the test with the new gelato , i want it to do well as its nice and light even damp there is far less weight , more easy on my back

The Gelato has a new friend too now

This new soil is turning me on, there is just something about it that makes me feel like this is the one, every grow I have done is never the same or the pots are all different lol , This Time next years @Squiggle
Peat , coco, wood chips , horse manure compost , perlite , no amendments , being fed the same as the other , ferment plant ready i hope , been watching a lot of videos lately and trying to steer away from people in white coats to grow my plants for me , i want to do them naturlly as possible , more work but better for everyone and more better for the planet :) went for another air pot @Bill284 never really got into the last grow but ill do better this one , put the pots I bought to good use mate ,

Morning Professor. Glad you had a great day with the family. Treasure those moments, things can change in a flash. Just what are those toppers made of, looks like some kind of insulation?

I'm not 100% sure what he is using but I find a fan blowing gently over the soil gets rid of them. @Hayron1088 its 2am in Ireland now.
Nutty will answer you in the morning im sure.

Wool blend toppers , yes keeping the top soil dryer works but I find this even better as I can keep the top moist now
