NuttyProfessor And His Herd Of Indigenous Microorganisms

Holy shit baobab? Do you do bonsai? I loved growing those.

For the ash, got any links or super simple explanation for: Species of plant -> resulting ash composition? How do you know what you're going to get by burning x plant?
hi i missed this , the fruit ash is baked in an oven or burnt with a plumbing burner , it works for potassium , i used banana mostly , small bit of orange, potato skin , what ever is available at the time, but banana is a must :)

Banana Skin (Ash)03.2541.76

Orange Skins (Ash)02.927

Potato skin (Ash)05.1827.5

I never over do any of my inputs , the finer the better for my style, i use twice in flower as top dress ,
i bottom watering this little plant in a large pot , there is a method in the madness :cheesygrinsmiley:

Oh my god that's so 'duh'. Does fruit skin ash ever cause issues with alkalinity? We make lye with hardwood here which is why I ask.

Edit: I just wrote this info down in my grow book...are those PPM or % to total weight?
its the NPK , p and k no nitrogen ,

i use a little neemcake for that in the veg mix :thumb:

Yes but what does that mean for me, a noob, mixing up stuff? It was once explained to me by a non-weed farmer as percents to total weight of whatever product is being labeled.

For the horse pastures I lay down urea to control the clover. The bag says 10-0-0 if I recall so 10% of that will be nitrogen by weight I think? Aaand then non-active bullshit?

yes the percent of the weight most likely , you would have to ask someone who knows what they are doing  :laugh: that is how i have always seen it , its like every thing in life , dont over do it and you have nothing to worry about , if the plant gets hungry then add extra

Today I started to cultivate microbes , this is a compost tea with a twist , there is no molasses and no air stone added
the food is banana, rice wash, potato, boiled potato is better but i used the skins for the extra microbes and cut the potato finely , added leaf mold compost .
its best to do this in a dull shed but for the journal i did it in the light
i saved the bottom drop of the large tea i did , i put some into a pan , added rice , let sit ten mins ,. drained , then added banana and potato , , this was then added to the rest of the tea in a larger bucket , i want larger microbes so added a heater set to 24c, when its cold you get tiny little bubbles with more heat you get bigger and better microbes

this will sit until a disc forms on the top of the bucket , when the time comes ill explain better
this is a microbe solution , making microbes by the billions, this will be added to my beets and hopefully more action less sleeping

You are our own organic cannabis loving Delia Smith. You make it look awsomely sexy!
I must say thank you though, for taking the time to teach us your skills.

I have been looking a little deeper , and now i see the light :Namaste: do ya do ya do you see the light , do you do you see the light , dooooooo youuuuu seeee thee light ,its always shines on you

Do you see the light?
You can always call my name and I'll be there

I'll be looking for it, searching for it
Looking for the light
I'll be looking for it, searching for it
Looking for the light
Do you see the light shining on you?
It's coming straight to your heart
Oh, do you see the light, what can you do?
Nothing can keep us apart

ive just had a fatty lol sorry :rofl:

Some things in life are bad Squiggle
They can really make you mad
Other things just make you swear and curse
When you're chewing on life's gristle
Don't grumble, give a whistle
And this'll help things turn out for the best
And
Always look on the bright side of life
Always look on the light side of life
If life seems jolly rotten
There's something you've forgotten
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing
When you're feeling in the dumps
Don't be silly chumps
Just purse your lips and whistle, that's the thing
And
Always look on the bright side of life
(Come on)
Always look on the right side of life
For life is quite absurd
And death's the final word
You must always face the curtain with a bow
Forget about your sin
Give the audience a grin
Enjoy it, it's your last chance anyhow
So always look on the bright side of death
A just before you draw your terminal breath
Life's a piece of shit
When you look at it
Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true
You'll see it's all a show
Keep 'em laughin' as you go
Just remember that the last laugh is on you
And
Always look on the bright side of life
Always look on the right side of life
(C'mon Brian, cheer up)
Always look on the bright side of life
Always look on the bright side of life
Always look on the bright side of life
I mean, what have you got to lose?
You know, you come from nothing
You're going back to nothing
What have you lost? Nothing
Always look on the right side of life
Nothing will come from nothing, ya know what they say
Cheer up ya old bugga c'mon give us a grin (Always look on the right side of life)
There ya are, see
It's the end of the film
Incidentally this record's available in the foyer (Always look on the right side of life)
Some of us got to live as well, you know
(Always look on the right side of life)
Who do you think pays for all this rubbish
(Always look on the right side of life)
They're not gonna make their money back, you know
I told them, I said to him, Bernie, I said they'll never make their money back
(Always look on the right side of life)

I get bored to easy would be the answer and i look into a bit of Jadam organic farming , then i sort of just look how things grow , watch time lapse videos on root growth etc , this is pretty new to me too , but i feel ive done it all in another life , not joking ,
i watched a lot of time lapses of auto flowers and it gives me an idea on my time scales , me being me getting bored easy i can only do autos , i would hermie a regular in a day , i hate power cuts , light leaks , and mostly WAITING
so my goal is to do i hope big autos in organic conditions , the perfect soil and the natural ferts ,
i do run an auto or two in coco , and synthetic , but i never give full feeds and have the same bottles for a couple of years lol

copperrein because i did a plant feeding baby milk formula for the fun of it and just liked the name nutty professor will be good , nutty and tries all sorts

This morning on my dog walk , i decided to get more diversity in my microbes , so i had a look around , on my walk there is the most healthy looking whin bushes , they always shine bright , so i am thinking they are being looked after by super microbes and i want some .
i added the leaf mold from under the whin bushes, i took it from a couple of locations , the best looking bushes i headed for thoese best ones to get the best molds and microbes , i put the molds into a sock , added a big air stone ball that had broke just to weigh it down ,
The disc should start appearing today so ill upload the pics then :Rasta:

I hope every one is fine today :green_heart:
