Nutty & His Antics

So Nutty I'd love your (and others opinions) on this. Here is an airstone after introducing beneficial bacteria into my reservoir, i had also added a tiny bit of molasses to keep them going. Would you say this is a good sign, or did it back fire? Lol

what was in the tea , cal and phosphate look like that when they bind up like lime scale , , have you more pictures ?
Knew you were the right guy for the question :Namaste:

Well in the res there was MC, liquid koolbloom, Terpinator, a smidgen of molasses, and Orca

Lights just turned off for the day so that's the only pic for now

i use the no air stone , potato , and leaf mould teas now , you also get A nice ph , its seems to work
Hmm, I wonder if I turn my air pump off.....
I've got the water pump running 24/7 right now and it's creating enough airation with two waterfalls. I'll give it a try and see if it changes anything.

@Rexer the jadam says the sugar make it to acidic and the microbes are acidic
It went to a PH of 6.4 oddly enough.

It's perfect time for experimenting, looks like I won't be able to finish this crop (details in journal), so I'll try anything to learn some more

i am just going by what my head tells me and how the circle of life works , even the top scientist have not got a clue on microbes , only over the last few years , so this is why i have to write every little detail down because you just have to get it right ONCE :)
@Rexer

@Rexer
When it comes to organics, your head is better then any text book. So next res change, I'll hold off on the molasses and see if it happens again. I'll keep trying to tweak it

@Rexer i am starting to feed my plants to my plants , ill be feeding my lawn to my lawn , the circle of life , microbe diversity is key
Are you composting? I want to get into organics but I wanna do it outside. So few more months. Gonna start to get the soil together now tho...

Can't believe I didn't think of this sooner but I spent a short time maintaining a food waste recycling plant (anaerobic digestion). Uses the methane produced by the microbes in the digestion tanks to power generators and produce electricity. It's pretty cool but it's dirty and smelly work for not great pay. The leftover liquid is filtered for plastics etc and then sold off to farmers as certified organic fertiliser. I still know guys that work there and wonder if they could sneak me a bottle and it would be worth trying? It stinks though.

well its 4.45am here and no word on Harley was the longest day yesterday, hardly slept, got late last night so i m expecting news at some stage this morning .
The waiting is the worst, this life at the moment is too cruel , she wouldn't last with the covid around anyway ,was too sick and weak , I have told my self over and over she is going to a better place :love:
