wont be on too much this week , i have three appointments dreading Thursday the most though , but has to be done ,i am hoping they dont need to take a sample from the lump, has any one had it done ? do they freeze your throat ? , dont mind the scan part lol

I've not had anything like that done, but I would imagine that they would do whatever they needed to, in order to allow taking any biopsy to be comfortable, I presume they'd give a tiny spray of something 'numbing' so it's as comfortable as can be for you. It will only be a tiny tiny bit if they did. As you say if it has to be done then it has be done. I have something similar the following week, oral surgery. Not looking forward to it at all, but hey, it's got to be done, and I'm trusting they'll do their best to make it as comfortable and tolerable as they can.
 
I have been putting this off from March last year, but now it just has to be done. So till next week I have been telling myself how much I'm looking forward to it! I know I am bullshitting myself but it does feel better than freaking myself out if I did the opposite, f*ck it all. Anyway, all the best for yours too. :high-five:

your right mate , and if i don't go to get it done ill always have to stress wondering what it is , it already feels more sticking out in a few weeks
 
Absolutely doing the right thing getting it checked out properly now. As blokes we have a tendency to leave these kind of things too long. I've been meaning to go back to the Dr about my inflamed nostril for about 12 years now :rofl:
