Bloody mites take the look of my girls every time , not this time , on top of them , have new tent also
two white widow i already potted up into new soil , ive a nice feeling about the run to come , gonna grow my best looking plants to date !
The smell of coffee is great !

i clipped the red tag , i am running this grow with hardly any ( n) , i dont think autos need too much , its more about P & K with them , strong stems , roots and flowers , every thing (N ) slows down ,

Or have i lost the plot completely lol

summer nutrients ,organic bananas , organic yeast, organic molasses ,gm free sunflower lecithin, organic blended chicken manure , seaweed dust , purple sprout leaves , rock DUST , alfalfa dust, orange ash, banana skin ash , blended manure ash , PK bost Nutrients
I caught some rain water last night so ill add today at some point , i want spinach leaves also but have to grab tomorrow

bottom tub catches the run off fermented oils, middle tub holds the ingredients , top tub is the weight only , 3 tubs high , will be stored in grow room in the dark for heat and so i can stir , will be covered dark though , i put a little pot stand in the bottom one to keep the middle one from going to far down when stacked, the more juice the more fertilizer :Rasta:

A nutty experiment to put my mind at ease, i was laughed at for suggesting this ,:nerd-with-glasses:
Don't knock or laugh at anything unless you try your self :Rasta: we will see who's laughing at the end :laugh::laugh:

I came up short filling my pots , i want to set a pot under a pot and hope the roots grow through into the next poit as ive primed it with flowering goodies:meatballs:

Fingers crossed it works for you. Did you put any cuts in the bottom of the pot to make it easier for the roots? I for one will never knock someone trying something different. Its the only way we evolve. Some people didn't think I could do what I've achieved in my cabinet. You don't know unless you try. :thumb:

EXACTLY !!!!
No I'm just letting them grow through , the idea of these pots is to air prune so they do penetrate the fabric but the air kills the root tip , so then the plant sends signals for new roots to grow , air pruning , its common sense they should grow through the fibre , so this is why i am trying this plan , half grown in one pot , flowered boost in the next

hmmm still some tiny baby mites the little feckers , must have been hatched eggs .. gotta get on top before they take over ,

I am hoping not to treat spider mites but to prevent them , its war !

so i dead headed my plants , marigolds mostly , added , worm wood , dill, garlic , coriander root , baking soda , a little oil , pepper mint , mint and boiled them together , then blitzed then sieved , its going to be trial and error on this so ill practise on a leaf or two first , it smells pretty nice lol :)
Hey Nutty wassup :passitleft:...I came by to show you that pic, and saw this ^^^^^...spider mites live on the leaves, BUT, they have to go through your medium to get there :hmmmm: so I use Beneficial Nematodes as a deterrent, and I don't have any bugs what so ever, just reordered some as a mater of fact :thumb:

And now what I came here for...NL auto...ya it was too much MC...she was all yellow and crispy :thedoubletake::thedoubletake: ...she looks better than she did a week ago.
Problem was...she looked fine, a few leaves started turning yellow, so I added some cal-mag...oops :thedoubletake::thedoubletake::thedoubletake: she turned crispy in a few days...that was 8 days ago, but I had been feeding her full strength MC @6 grams per gallon/4L every time...my mistake, won't make it again  that's the worst looking plant I've had in years :hmmmm: almost embarrassed to show her :rofl:

shes on the mend and will still harvest , ive seen a lot worse and did worse lol your soil looks like it will drain super fast too so that's a good thing when you over do it , you nailed it what ever was going on , one thing locking out another ,the cal will unlock the (k) again so she might have spiked too much , then the just water cleared it

sorry i forgot to say to you thanks for the info @MochaBud they came in from my poly tomato plants in spring then they kept spreading from adults to seedlings , i never ever got them killed as i was sharing a room , but now I've a tent in my room but its held up with my lava freeze for another 3 weeks , i have also culled the last of tomato plants ( i think it was this soil ) , I've started soilless now but get them from touching , I'm getting less and less each grow :)

Yeah I use the excess in my yard around my back deck and we have very few flies or mosquitoes to speak of...they're a microscopic parasitic worm that infects any insect that lays a larvae style egg...including mites :thumb: ...I have dogs, and they kill fleas also

Oh yeah, best thing about them is you put them in a gallon jug and mix them up really good, and you can spray with a bottle or water with a garden watering can...on my yard I use a hose sprayer, and I order much more for the spring, if you don't use them all at once, they keep in the fridge for 2 weeks :thumb: not toxic to humans or animals is a plus

put in plenty of crab meal , dust ... i get it local but haven't added this last run or haven't sprayed my leaves with seaweed extract if normally puts them off eating leaves

The EPA says that chitin and chitosan defend against botrytis (grey mold), powdery mildew, early and late blight, fungal pathogens in the root zone (root rot) and root-feeding nematodes (fungus gnats).

. It's a great fertilizer with calcium and some extra benefits not found in other fertilizer products. it also makes a great mulch and slug repellent
Crab shell is high in chitin, which promotes the growth of chitin eating bacteria. The exoskeletons of fungus and harmful varieties of nematodes eggs are high in chitin. When added to the soil, crab shell helps to create a hostile environment for the fungus and root destroying nematodes by feeding the biological life that eats chitin and chitin based organisms.

The chitin in the crabshell stimulates soil organisms to secrete enzymes called chitinases. These enzymes degrade chitin, which is a component of flea egg shells. The presence of chitin in the fertilizer makes it a natural biopesticide that is non-toxic to birds, animals, fish, and plants.

Fertilizing your garden with the use of crab meal can be done on its own or combined with the use of other fertilizers. When combined, the manufacturer usually has their own directions for use. The same it true of crab meal fertilizer by itself. These instructions are unique to the composition of the fertilizer and for the desired application.

For specific vegetable and applications the use for the crab meal will be different. For instance, vegetables should have 5 lbs for each 50 foot row. Other uses include:

mix with compost or till around ground
When sowing the plant you should till the fertilizer into the soil before planting. If the plant is already in the soil, then tilling around the plant or simply spreading it around the base will be sufficient for a successful growing season. This is not a water soluble fertilizer. It must be applied by itself.

Mulching your garden bed has some great benefits. Mulch will hold moisture and keep weeds from starting around the plant. However, it is also useful for helping the crab meal better keep the plant fertilized. Spread the crab meal into the mulch and the time release qualities of it will continually feed the plant. You can also add some crab meal to your compost bin for an added boost in nutrition.

Crab meal makes for a tremendously beneficial organic fertilizer. Its time release quality will not over fertilize your plant, but will give it the nitrogen and protein it needs for beautiful, vibrant, and healthy produce. Use it on your trees, vegetables, or flowers for great results

Have you tried all natural SNS-217 from our Sponsors @Sierra Natural Science for your spider mites?

Will get a look thanks ,and a bigger thanks for dropping by :cheesygrinsmiley: i feel blessed :)

do they post to Ireland or would that cost me too much ? , they are a pain to get totally rid of.
