Northern Lights: Dope Seeds

I swear she was fine til I started spraying her...
I swear that’s happened to me too! I remember a plant that had a few different issues, all of which seemed to start with the first neem leafwash. I don’t blame the spray as such - but it sure did seem to trigger something and wake up the fungus gnats  Even tho it’s suppsed to kill em! Likely a coincidence I guess... but the correlation was strong so it was hard not to think it was cause ;)

Bamboo stakes for supporting those fat Southern California Buds!

Hey Agemon, I have been away but not completely, currently it is Winter here, for outdoor growers we are stuck in limbo waiting for Spring. This week I dug a small narrow 4m raised garden on the strip between the fence that only gets an hour of direct sun a day. I chucked some compost, pumice and amendments that should be nicely cooked in by another 4 months when I will transplant some plants in and sandwich them between tomatos for some stealth. I got a ton of seeds (regular) from the Widow and Gorgonzola I grew last season so it doesn't matter if it turns out too sunshine poor to grow in.

Your plant is looking good. Down here in the 'off season' it is just great to see the plants folks are growing this very moment in the northern hemisphere while we wait for it to warm up some so we can pop our seeds! The bamboo stakes actually give it a bit of a bamboo plant look, I might check out some 'silk flowers' for whether they can help with camouflage as I am constrained the sunshine areas of my garden being not as private and hidden as I'd like. Anyway, look forward to seeing those bamboo stakes employed in major supports roles for your buds! :hookah:

Well here we are about a month or so from harvesting this outdoor Northern Lights from Dope Seeds. Turns out that Northern Lights is just perfect for a high temperature outdoor grow! I put her in the ground too early but she revegged and is a real stunner!!!!!! I had to prune her twice to keep her below the wall. I'd be surprised if my neighbor hasn't noticed...

So impressed with this strain! Northern Lights Forever!!!!

It gets into the 110's on the regular where I live and usually hotter during July and August. She gets 5 minutes of water 3 times a day and you'd never know by her growth how hot it gets. It's gonna be 102 today, finally some cooler days and there's a nice breeze today too.

Stay Baked!

All wired up and ready to blow!

It was nice all day, and then bam the wind hits and it's crazy! Real Gusty and crazy. I'm glad they're wired up! I hadn't even thought about the before and before shots above...

Some mid morning pics of this Northern Lights. Contrasty pics but the color fade is really starting to show from the bottom up. I've got a pretty serious ant infestation at the base of the plants in the ground. I sprayed the area with Flying Skull. Any other suggestions for ant?

Amdro Ant Stakes from Home Depot. Takes a few days but they usually work. If the ground stays dry where they're trail is you can use DE as well.

ground is always wet in that area, no sun and 12-15 minutes of water every day.
