Northern Lights - Building An Army

i know i wish it was a FULL closet and didnt drop off, only reason im ok with it is because its smaller then the flower and pll complain of not having room in flower as they did in veg so i know i wont have a over crowding issue in the flower area : )

I remember when I setup my first 'serious' grow space, ie I bought HIDs. I split up the space, half for veg, and half for flower. :rofl:
As most of you know, that isn't ideal. IMHO, the ratio of flower space to veg space should be AT LEAST 2:1. I ended up doing what a lot of folks here do. I dedicated ALL of the original space to flowering and found other places to grow moms and clones.

That is soooo true...IMHO, it takes 3 spaces to perpetuate.....and a crash course in juggling!

Let me know if you find a source for those people. I'd like to "rent" my house. Then if it ever got busted, it wouldn't be my grow. Problem is those pseudo people I need to make it look like someone lives there. :winkyface:

Ya, the people that do that never seem to get it right, the key is to have a driveway that's obscure, 1 car there at all times, and intermitently switch cars when you come by to work, carry in grocerie bags.............take out trash ect., it's alotta work, but could take you to the next level! All in a pseudo identity, no TRIES, you DO IT, first run, first run, every run....when it starts to feel ugly...move it...or leave it!

That's exactly the idea I had! Do you think people do that?
I wanted to rent a house, but never live there. I'd be there enough, that I could probably make it look like I lived there though. Put some lights on a timer. Make sure there is a TV there that makes the curtains flicker. You know, as if I lived there. The biggest drag would be having to worry about a landlord.

You don't have to leave an extra car there. Just get one with a garage, and don't grow in the garage! :winkyface:
It also serves the advantage of being able to load and unload vehicles out of sight.


I own this house and another back in AZ. My idea was to "rent" them on paper, but use them myself to grow in. If the rooms ever got discovered, the hope would be that I could claim is was my "renter". The big problem I see is that I would be recognized as the person that used to live at the houses before. hmmm

What you do is set it up so you have a trusted freind that has a minium wage job so he has some income, you put him in a house and make him pay like 200 a month (mabe) for rent (cheap as fuck btw becuase normal is like 500-600), then have him grow in every room posible and give him a 20% cut for his labor, its your grow but he is watching it, problem is the guy you get needs to be on his level and know its a f&%* trap house lol you cant have ANYONE over but you and he cant talk about it. Not like he cant have freinds but he has to leave the house and never bring any one back, be it women or anyone becasue it just becomes a target after that if you piss said woman off ; p.

PLUS if your 'renting' you can tell them your charging him 500 a month and you can get 300$ of YOUR money launderd and you will get a tax right off on the money that allready ligit ; P see how that works. and if your realy bawler you can take the expensis that you had to rebuild the house for grow, screws, drywall, paint, wood, appliances, seeing that you are a renter ALL that shit is a tax right off, so you can get tax right offs on your 'illegal' grow, Hey Uncle Sam wants to say this shit isnt legal then f'em i dont need to pay more money to a goverment who will give to people who sit at home and dont do anything to contribute to socitey and just leach off a healthy economy.....

Tell you the truth i was happy when they made dispenserys illegal because it brought allot of businesses back to the caregivers, if your a caregiver and are affraid of loosing business because of dispencerys, one. lower prices. two. start selling to dispenserys ; P

I understand what you're saying. I've been trying to come with ideas about how to use the home(s) I already own to grow without having it look like it's my grow. Your way would certainly work. Why not just make it an even sweeter deal. Come live in the house, already setup, rent free in exchange for watching the garden. Maybe give them a salary or percentage. Then you can still claim the rent as income, but the rest goes unreported. My biggest concern would be the tenant, He could try to screw me if I pissed him. I guess I just don't trust people enough.

thats why you have them pay lil rent, and offer them like 10-20% of the crop as their labor payment, so they are invested in the crops success and accualy give a sh*$# you know lol ..... hard part is trusting they wont bring pll to the trap house, got to have them leave if they want to see someone, and even then now your traphouse is empty, sometimes it works if you have 2-3 in a giant house and have each one watching the others so you have backup if one flips.
